Your First Kiss Together

(Y/n)'s PoV

You walked in the door of your best friend Shawn's house. He had texted you a few minutes ago to come over to watch a movie together, so here you were, just on time like you said you'd be.

"Shawn I'm here!" You yelled into the house.

"I'm in the kitchen." He replied.

You walked into the kitchen to see Shawn in front of the microwave waiting for the last ten seconds to be finished so he could take the popcorn out.

"Hey (y/n)" He said, walking over to you, giving you a big bear hug

"Hey Shawn." You giggled into his chest.

"If you wanna go into the living room and pick out a movie to watch you can." He said pulling away from the hug.

"Yeah sure." You replied, then walked into the living room to go through the four big racks of DVD's.

After looking through the racks for a while and not finding anything that caught your eye, you decided that you would just watch Harry Potter since that's Shawn's favourite. You've had a crush on Shawn for a few years, but you didn't want to tell him incase it ruined your friendship. You walked back into the kitchen to see Shawn pouring the drinks into the glasses.

"I picked Harry Potter for the movie to watch." You smiled, taking some popcorn out of the bowl.

"You know me well, eh?"

"Of course I do and you know I love the Harry Potter movies too." You smirked, talking his hat from his head

"Hey give it back." He groaned, making a pouty face at you.

"Nope." You giggled, opening the back door and running outside.

Shawn followed you and started chasing you around the back garden. He caught up and grabbed you by the waist, turning you around. You put your arm as far away as you could, hoping he couldn't reach it but he did. He gets it off of you with one hand, his other hand behind your back making sure you didn't run away.

"You know I'm faster than you." He said looking down at you.

"I know." You replied smiling up at him

He looked from your eyes to your lips, then back to your eyes. He closed his eyes and you didn't the same, both leaning in and after a minute you both pull away.

"Oh god I shouldn't have done that." Shawn groaned, his face slightly red

"But I liked it."

"You did?" He questioned, his eyebrow raised.

You looked at him giving him a 'Duh' look before you answered him.

"I've liked you for a while, Shawn." You awkwardly stated, looking everywhere but at him.

"I've liked you for long time too." He nervously smiled, his hand on the back of his neck

"So umm do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He questioned awkwardly, his voice going slightly higher at the end.

"Of course I do, Shawn."
