Scary Movie

Shawn's Pov

I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, while all the kids were occupied. (Y/N) was giving our daughter Lily a bath and the boys, Luke and Scott were watching a movie in the living room.

After about ten minutes I heard the bath start to drain and the sound of Lily coming down the stairs. I saw her walk into the living room to where the boys were, so it was okay to leave her in there with them while I finished the dinner.

Soon after I heard a scream and the sound of Lily running into the kitchen screaming "DADDY!! DADDY!! HELP!!"

As soon as I heard her I dropped what I was doing and saw her running into the kitchen with tears streaming down her face. She quickly ran into my arms and I lifted her up and held her tightly. I heard (Y/N) running down the stairs and as soon as she saw me holding Lily she calmed down a bit.

"Shhh, babygirl, what happened?" I asked concerned

"T-there was a m-monster." She cried, shaking in my arms

"Shhh, baby, you're okay. There's no monster in there." I tried to soothe her

"B-but it was on the TV a-and it's gonna g-get me."

Then I realised that the boys were probably watching a horror movie.

I walked into the living room with Lily still in my arms, facing her away from the tv so she wouldn't see anything else that would scare her.

"Boys." I said sternly "What are you watching?"

"The conjuring." Replied Luke and I sighed

"You boys know you're not supposed to be watching those types of movies when Lily is in the room."

"But it's not even that bad!! The only thing a little bit scary is that demon thing on top of the wardrobe and the witch hanging from the tree." Scott whined

"It's not suitable for Lily, now turn it off and get into the kitchen."

"Ugh you're so unfair." Scott groaned

"I'm not being 'unfair', Lily is probably going to have nightmares now." I said, making sure I mouthed "nightmares" so she wouldn't know what I was talking about

"Get into the kitchen now boys." (Y/N) said sternly

They immediately got up, as they were mommy's boys and quickly ran into the kitchen.

"Are you okay now Lily?" I asked

"Kind of." She sniffled then asked "Daddy?"

"Yes babygirl?"

"Can I sleep in your bed with mommy tonight, to keep me safe?" She asked

"Of course you can, baby. Mommy and I will keep you safe."
