Finding Out (Pregnancy Series)

Shawn's PoV

It was a Sunday morning and (Y/N) and I were laying in bed together. She was snuggled up against my chest and I had my arm around her.

Every so often she would open her mouth to say something but then she would think about it and not say anything.

"What do you want to tell me?" I asked

"Oh, um, something has just been on my mind. I'm not sure if I'm right about it, but if I'm right I know you'll be happy but I don't wanna tell you just in case I'm wrong." She sighed

"Come on baby, you can tell me now anyway." I encouraged her

She sat up then turned around to face me.

"I think I'm pregnant." She smiled

"Pregnant?? Really? Baby are you serious?" I smiled excitedly

"Well I haven't had my period for two months so I'm pretty sure."

"Have you bought a test?" I was getting excited now

"Yeah, I have three of them in the drawer over there." She said, pointing to the chest of drawers

I quickly got out of the bed and nearly ran over there to get the tests so she could take them. I rummaged through the drawer for a minute and found them under a pile of paperwork. I took them out of the drawer and threw them over to the bed.

"Take them, take them now!!!" I spoke excitedly

"Okay, okay, I'll be back in a minute."

She walked into the ensuite and did her business then came back out with the three tests on a big piece of tissue.

"Now we just have to wait five minutes." She spoke nervously, sitting down on her bed

"I'm so excited, baby. Why are you nervous?" I asked, sitting down beside her

"I just don't want to have gotten your hopes up."

"It's okay baby. If you're not pregnant we can try again." I answered softly

"I love you Shawn." She said, giving me a hug.

"I love you too baby." I replied, hugging her back tightly

"Will you check the tests first?" She asked

"Sure."

I walked over to where she left them and saw that the lines said that she was pregnant.

"Baby you're pregnant!!" I spoke enthusiastically

"Oh my god really??" She asked, now getting excited as well

"We're going to be parents!!" I cheered

"In around seven months...Oh god that's so close." She whispered

That was when I realised that my parents were going to be grandparents.

"We have to go tell my parents about this later!!"
