Daughter Gets Her Period

Shawn's pov

I woke up to see Lily still asleep in the bed beside me. She had slept with me last night because she was starting to get stomach pains.

I moved the duvet so I could get up to call (y/n) to see how she was doing on her business trip, when I saw a blood stain on the sheets and on the back of Lily's pyjama bottoms.

"Fuck." I mumbled then walked into the bathroom to start running a bath for Lily. I went and got new pyjamas and found pads in (y/n's) press in the ensuite.

"Lily." I whispered, shaking her slightly trying to wake her up. "Babygirl wake up."

"It's too earlyyyyy dad. What do you wannnt?" She whined, still half asleep

"You started your period, baby." I said and her eyes widen in shock.

"W-what? How do you know?" She asked.

"It went through your bottoms and onto the bed."

She jumped up from the bed and looked at the bed sheet in shock.

"I'm so sorry, dad."

"It's okay baby. I ran a bath for you so you go get into that and I'll wash your PJ's and the bed sheet."

"Okay dad. Thank you." She said giving me a quick hug and going into the bath room.

"Here dad." She handed me out her pyjamas

"I'll go wash them now."

After a while Lily was finished her bath and walked down the stairs in her clean pyjamas.

"Did you know how to put the pad on?" I asked, turning around from the microwave

"Um I think so...There were these two flappy thingys on the top so I put them under my underwear because there was nowhere else to put them....I just looked at the pictures on the wrapper."

"That sounds like you did it right to me."

"That was so embarrassing though."

"It's not embarrassing, baby. I knew what I was signing up for when I have having a kid."

"Please don't tell mom...She'll start crying or something."

"I have to tell her that you got it but I promise I won't tell her that it got on the bed."

"Ugh okay."

"So do you wanna watch 'The late late toy show' with me?" I asked

"That's on today?!?!" She screamed in excitement.

"Yup, and I made popcorn for us." I smiled.

"Yay...Can we cuddle on the couch?"

"Of course we can, babygirl."

Just so you guys know 'The late late toy show' is a TV show that is on once a year a few weeks before Christmas in Ireland.....It just gives little kids a few ideas on what they might want for Christmas and there does be performances by lots of different people....It's really good....I do still watch it and I'm 13 (I'm not really old I know but most teenagers wouldn't be bothered to watch it😂)
