Chapter 15: I Need to Leave Right Now!

(Y/N)'s POV

A month has passed since I first met the human girl in world over yonder.We had somehow dropped the idea of me leaving,I somehow didn't mind,sure I had arguments with Tomoe almost every day.But inside I had grown to care for them,I was afraid to admit it,I didn't want to lose everyone again.

I was about to go to sleep,but wanted to do some reading before,I was in the middle of tying my hair up into a ponytail.

I walked past the mirror and as usually,glanced at myself.

I froze and let the hairtie fall on the ground,I walked closer to the mirror.

I stared into my own eyes.

No.This can't be happening.

I saw red colour flooding into my (E/C) orbs,making my eyes blood red.My eyes went wide and I touched the mirror,as if I didn't belive the sight.

But as I had brought my fingers to the mirror,I discovered another change.My nails were sharp,similar to Tomoe's,but mine were black.

I quiqkly glanced at my whole figure.The hakama was now red and black (Picture).My hair almost reached the ground.

I couldn't belive the sight,I became full of fright.I brought my hand to my heart in shock.

"No pulse." I whispered.

'Haven't you thought about what happens when the yokai instincts force their way out,you're able to destroy the world if you want,or kill everyone'

I squeezed my eyes tightly toghether as I remembered the words Tomoe once told me.

I opened my eyes again,uneasily.

I was back to normal...

I brought my hand in front on my face.My nails were back to normal.My hair was back to the same lenght,the hakama I wore was in the normal colours.Even my eyes shone the beautiful (E/C) colour.

I quiqkly placed my hands on my heart.

It was beating...

But as I had removed my hands,a green light glowed from the place my heart was,I had seen it before,on my mother.She told me that it was her heart.This must've been mine.

It started changing colour...into pitch black.

I stood there,unable to move.

The dim light dissapeared.

"I need to leave now,before I'll hurt someone." I quietly said and quietly made my way out,very quietly.

I stopped at the shrine entrance and looked over my shoulder.I pointed my finger near the entrance.

A sakura tree started growing.The gorgeous pink blossoms bloomed immidently and some petals landed on the ground.

"Good...bye." I whispered as a single tear fell down my cheek.I turned my head and started to run,trying to avoid furder tears.

Tomoe's POV

It seemed like another normal day.I had woken up early and was having breakfast.I was surprised that (Y/N) hadn't accompanied me,she usually woke up quite early,I assumed that it was one of those days she wanted to sleep till noon.

It was about 10 and Nanami was heading out to do some work in the garden.I was going to wake up (Y/N).How long is that girl planning to sleep?

I knocked a few times.

Silence.

I called her name multible times.

Silence.

I pushed the door open.

Emptiness.

She wasn't there.

My heart skipped a beat and an expression on shock was plastered on my face.

"(Y/N)" I whispered.

I started to open all the doors,searching everywhere,my voice getting more desperate as I called out for her.

This couldn't have been happening.All the feelings came back,it felt just like when Mikage left.I have known this girl for a month,but yet I was afraid of her leaving like Mikage.

'Just a week ago she was clinging on to me and didn't want me to leave her.And now she's left me.'

"Tomoe!" I heard the terrified cry of Nanami and rushed out.

I found a huge,spider-like yokai trying to catch Nanami.But there was something else that also caught my eye.

A sakura tree.

My eyes widened.

But...the blossoms were pitch black...

'What happened to her?'

(Y/N)'s POV

I ran into my shrine,closing he door tightly behind me,I rushed straight into my mother's room.

I opened the closet and tossed everything out until I found what I needed.

Her katana.

My eyes were slowly becoming red again,I wore the black hakama again,my nails were sharp and my hair was in a high ponytail,a red bow around it (Picture).

I rushed outside and set my steps towrds a ceratin hill.

On the hill,there grew a huge sakura tree.My mother had loved that place,so had I.

I pulled the katana out of the case.

I spreaded my legs a bit and stood confidently,then raising the katana in the air.

I pointed it at my heart.

I needed to end my life right now,before I could destroy the world or kill everyone.

I gripped the sword tightly and before I noticed,tears streamed down my cheeks.

I squeezed my eyes tightly toghether...

...And pushed the katana towards my heart...
