I'm so sorry for not updating!But I do have a reason!
So here's the deal,I was actually sick,still am,but at least I don't have a fever anymore so that's good.Anyway,I wanted to update but my mother wouldn't even let me go near my laptop saying that it's bad for my eyes so I couldn't really update.
I'm glad to announce that I'm feeling much better now and I'm able to update!
So,for this chapter,all I'm gonna say is that this is one of (Y/N)'s memories but this one isn't deleted.

BTW I'm going to name (Y/N)'s mother Ayako!

Author-chan's POV
(Y/N) walked up a cliff with her mother,her mother,Ayako,needed some healing flowers from the top of that cliff.
The little girl held her mother's hand tightly,smiling and humming a song at the same time,sometimes peeking over the edge to see the ocean .
As they reached the top Ayako started to pick the flowers while (Y/N) ran around while giggling.
(Y/N)'s mother raised her eyes to look at the sky.The sunny weather had started turning into a stormy one,dark clouds filled the sky.
She frowned,feeling somewhat threatening precence around herself.
Yokai.
"Come (Y/N),lets start heading home!" she called out before she could turn.
But as she had turned,she froze.
There stood 4 yokai,one of them gripping (Y/N)'s hand tightly,he had placed a hand on her mouth so she couldn't make a sound,that man had piercing ice blue eyes.
"Leave her out of this." Ayako angrily hissed while squeezing her hand into a fist.
"Fine." he chuckled,and in a moment,just like a cloth,he tossed the little girl over the edge of that high cliff.
"(Y/N)!" Ayako yelled and rushed after her daughter,but so did the yokai,after (Y/N)'s mother that was.
As she had pulled (Y/N) into an embrace,she whispered something in her ear and then,using her power,she sent (Y/N) safely to the ground.
This was the moment the yokai got hold of (Y/N)'s mother,and since she had just passed her power to (Y/N),she was helpless.The yokai could kill her without hesistation.
The young woman's body fell into the ocean with the yokai who were pointlessly searching for her heart.
(Y/N) was standing on the shore,eyes wide.She couldn't put toghether the pieces,couldn't understand what had just happened.
The cold wind blew through her (H/C) hair as she still stared towards the ocean.
It slowly came to her and tears formed in her eyes.
"MOM!" she yelled as tears streamed down her face,she started to run towards the ocean,but her wrist was grabbed.
She looked back,her eyes locked into ice blue ones.
Haru.
"There's nothing you can do,she's already dead." the boy said bluntly.
More tears ran down (Y/N)'s face and she fell into the arms of Haru,sobbing uncontrollably.
The boy's eyes widened slightly but after a moment he pet her head comfortingly.
He started to feel the slightest bit of guilt...
The man who killed (Y/N)'s mother was his father after all,but he shouldn't feel guilty,his father had raised him this way,he was supposed to kill (Y/N) one day...
But could he end the life of the woman who he will eventually start loving?Could he really kill that little girl?
"You're safe with me (Y/N)." he whispered softly to the sobbing girl.
With that,he took her back to her shrine and took care of her until she was able to take care of herself.
But since that day,Haru didn't have peace,he knew that he had to kill her someday,he kept pushing that thought away,he tried to ignore it.
But could you really kill someone you love?
