(Y/N)'s POV
It was a gorgeous winter morning,the ground was covered in snow which sparkled so nicely under the sunlight.
I had just gotten dressed and was heading to the living room,on the way,I spotted Nanami,playing in the snow.A smile sneaked on my lips and I set my steps outside.
"(Y/N)!" Nanami yelled while waving,a snowball was flying towards me the moment after,hitting me in the face.
I wiped off the cold snow while giggling."You will regret messing with me!" I playfully yelled and ran into the snow,quiqkly forming a snowball and shooting it towards Nanami.It hit her.I let out a snort of laughter but another snowball cut me off.
Our snowball fight continued for a while,Nanami was throwing yet another snowball,I jerked to the right,avoiding it,instead of hitting me,it flew against the shrine gate.It crumbled.
Me and Nanami stared at the broken gate with a confused expression.
Then it hit me,my heart skipped a beat.
Tomoe!
Seems like Nanami had figured it out too as we both gave eachother a terrifed look.After those 3 seconds of staring eachother,we started running inside.
It was his power what held up the shrine...i-if it started crumbling like that...it meant that...
We spotted Tomoe in the hallway,leaning against the wall,I froze immidently.
"Tomoe!" Nanami's voice echoed in my head repeatedly.
She tried to approach him,but he pushed her away,I saw him cough blood.
I bit my tongue.Hard.Trying to prevent the warm tears that threatened to fall every second.
Seems like I had been fighting with myself for a while since I now saw Tomoe falling forward,just before I could scream out his name a blue butterfly flew past me,straight to Tomoe.The butterfly changed into Mikage who wrapped something around Tomoe,hugging him.
A tear fell down my cheek.
Then he dissapeared,only a mirror left of him.
I fell on my knees,still not knowing whether this is a nightmare or not.
Nanami's face was as shocked as mine,she appoached Mikage,problably asking what exactly just happened.
I looked down,my eyes full of pain,I felt my heart shatter into a thousand pieces all over again.
"He experienced love again,that's why the curse came back." I heard Mikage say,I raised my eyes...I didn't knew Tomoe loved someone.
"How much time does he have?" I heard Nanami ask quietly.
"A week." he almost whispered.
My eyes widened,that meant I could still save him...but how?
My heart and life elixir.Exactly.That was exactly what he needed!I know that they're powerful enough to cure him!It has to work!
Even if that means I will die...I don't care as long as he will survive.
I shot up,Nanami and Mikage looked at me.
"I will save him,I know what I need to do!" I announced.
"(Y/N),that's impossible-"
"I will not let the person I care for the most die!Not again!" I yelled,cutting Nanami off,my voice cracking.
Nanami's eyes widened while a smile sneaked on Mikage's lips.
I turned on my heels.There was only one person who would fulfill my wish.But if I wanted to get to her,I needed to go to the past,I'm not able to find her cabin right now,too much has changed.
I went to Mizuki as fast as I could,not stopping or slowing down for once.
"Mizuki!I need your time traveling machine!" I blurted out as I stormed into the shrine.
After explaining what happened at full speed,he agreed.
-Timeskip to the past-
I opened my eyes,darkness and trees surrounding me.
I sat up carefully,studying my surroundings.Well,I was obviously in a forest,which one of them was the question.
Swearing under my breath I got up and brushed the dust off of my kimono,still looking around,trying to find clues.
I suddenly saw a light and started to walk towards it immidently.
I ended up in a small village,thankfully I recocnized it,I knew which way I needed to go now.
I had been walking for a while and I knew I was almost there,I only needed to go over that mountain,then I would be there.
The wind was strong and cold,the snow was making it almost impossible for me to see.
I suddenly stiffened,did I just hear growling?
I gulped.
It couldn't be.
Then I saw it.A huge wolf.My mother always told me stories about them.
I stood,face to face with a huge beast,only a few metres separeting us.
No.I'm not going to give up now,not when I have come so far.I have to at least try.For him.
He bared hi teeth at me,growling lowly,his claws were as sharp as blades.
It started running towards me and jumped on the side,throwing lightballs at it,they didn't seem to do much though,I bit my lip.
After wh seemed like a century to me I seemed to be getting weaker,the beast on the other hand,it didn't show any signs of tiring.
My jumps got sloppy,I didn't throw my lightballs so straightly anymore,I started to pant.
And then it happened,something snapped inside me while jumping up and I didn't make it on the other side.
The wolf used his chance and made a deep cut into my stomach with one of his blade-like claws.
I let out a scream of pain and fell on the ground,tears streaming down my face.
This.This couldn't be the end!It can't just end here!I...I can't die without seeing Tomoe once more.
I saw him approaching me and I tasted blood in my mouth.
I was tired and my eyes closed by themselves,my body went numb.
I...I'm sorry,Tomoe.

CLIFFHANGER!
Do not worry,this will not end here...although it will end soon,problably the next chapter.(I'm planning to start a new Tomoe x Reader tho,after I've finished this one.)
