the proposal - chapter 14

I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a Lego house
If things go wrong we can knock it down

Lianee cant help but be amazed at the guy in front of her. Hes playing on the guitar as he sing. Hes looking intently at her. She was just standing in there. She cant believe that he is here.

Yonghwa was sitting on a chair in the center of the lawn. He cant keep smiling at Lianee. He was there earlier when she graduated but he didnt show himself and he saw her looking around. He almost came out when he saw her dejected smile as she bowed after getting her diploma. But he stopped himself.

He stood up and walk over to her, still strumming his guitar. Lianee smiled at him and he took the guitar strap off his shoulders and someone got it from him.

" surprise!" He said as he came near her.

Lianee sniff and a tear fell on her cheek. " did you attend my graduation?" She asked.

" of course. I promised you didnt I?" He smiled and brush her tears with her thumb. " Im sorry if you thought I didnt come. I was there. I saw you looking for me."

Lianee pouted and turn away so he wont see her face. She really didnt believe him. She thought he changed his mind. Yonghwa's face clouded when he saw her quivering lips. Shes crying.

" baby.." He turned her around." I was there. Sorry if I made you feel sad today. That wasnt my intention. It would ruin the surprise if I let you see me."

" but.. You didnt call. I waited..." She sniff again and look down on the ground. She hastily wipe her tears. The guests must think shes crazy right now but she doesnt care. She didnt hear from him for three months. " I didnt think you missed me at all."

Yonghwa cradled her face with his hands and look intently at her. He can see the path of tears on her cheeks and he felt stupid.
Then he hug her tight. " sorry baby. Im really sorry. I was busy preparing for this. I wanted everything to be perfect. Ive waited three years for you and I thought, a few more months would be ok. I-I didnt think you'd feel like I abandoned you. Im sorry." He kissed her hair and sighed. He doesnt want her to feel like this specially since its her graduation day.

Lianee nod her head and wipe her face with the back of her hand. She beamed at him.

" you really made all these happen.... for me? But, I still dont remember. Im sorry that you waited three years Yong. "

He smiled. "Even if you dont remember, I told you. We will make new memories. I love you so much Lianee." He kiss her on the forehead.

He led her to the center of the lawn and they danced. Their eyes never leaving each other. It seems no one exist except for them. Yonghwa never felt so happy. He knew that Lianee feels the same way too.

When the song ended, he kneeled and brought out a small box from his pocket. " Lianee. I hope you wont feel that this is sudden. I know you dont remem ber, but what we have is something that I cant forget. I love you so much and I dont want to be away from you anymore. Will you marry me?"

Lianee can see that his hand was shaking. She smiled and place her hand near his. "Yes...I will."

Yonghwa smile grew wide as he slip the ring on her finger. He kissed her on the lips and everyone clapped their hands. At last his wait is over.

Lianee's parents remarried that Sunday and they have a small celebration. Then they planned their wedding. She enrolled in the same school with Yonghwa and they live in an apartment near the school.

Three months after, they were wed on the beach with a few of their friends and family. Its an intimate gathering as per Lianee's request.

They went home to his apartment after the wedding and she squealed in surprise when Yonghwa carried her inside.

" put me down!" She was laughing at him. He carried her inside and slowly let her down. She s wearing a simple chiffon gown with swarovzki crystals as embellishments. Her hair fell in soft waves and Yonghwa run his fingers in it. " youre so beautiful Lianee. " he whispered and he lean down to kiss her.

She answered his kisses and it became heated. She put her hand on his nape to pull him down. She wanted to feel very close to him.

While they were dancing earlier she got a flash of when he asked her to be his girlfriend again and she felt so lucky. Yonghwa waited for her.

His hands carefully zip her gown down and push the cap sleeve off her shoulder as he trailed kisses on her face. Then he kissed her exposed skin as he let her gown fall on the floor. He unbuttoned his shirt and took it off. Hes left with his pants on as he carry Lianee inside the room. He gently lay her down on the bed. He hurriedly undress and lie down next to her.

Lianee admired his body as she felt her face flush. Yonghwa put her hair behind her ear and kiss her nose. She smiled and she let her fingers trail on his jaw. He is so perfect for her. " Yonghwa." She said as he kissed her on her collarbone. " I remember you. When you ask me. Thats all I remember."

" its ok baby" he answered as he trail kisses on her neck. " its enough that you remember me."
Lianee moaned as his lips reach a sweet spot between her neck and shoulders. His hand roam on her body and where it touch it ignites a fire inside of her. His mouth travelled south and it took in one of her mountain as his hand teased the other.

" Yonghwa.." She called his name and her fingers closed in on his hair. She squirmed under him surprised that they were both naked now. When did that happen? Her mind clouded and she lost her line of thought when his fingers reach the apex of her thigh. Yonghwa took her lips and kissed her urgently as his finger played inside of her. Making her knees turn into jelly. She moaned and he groaned. He positioned himself on top of her and slowly entered. She gasp at the sudden intrusion and he stilled kissing her face to calm her. After a while he moved and she hissed at the slight pain. Then it turned into a moan. He made love to her and Lianee felt that shes soaring up the sky. They were both breathing heavily after. Yonghwa cradled her close to his chest and he cover them with the blanket.
" baby you ok?" He asked.

" hmmm.." She answered, she felt so sleepy.

" I love you Lianee." was the last thing she heard before she succumb to sleep.
