in the last chapter i forgot to tell you guys when it switched the point of view of alaina, and i'm sorry for that! haha i'll make sure it doesnt happen again :)

*Alaina's POV*

"So my mom wants you to come with us today," Lauren explained to me as I sleepily trudged into her house. I didn't get much sleep last night, especially since I woke up at 4 from that horrible dream I had. I did end up falling asleep after that, but I woke up again at 7 and I was still tired.

"Whats happening today again?" I asked, a yawn escaping my mouth. I sat down at one of the stools at her counter and watched as she flipped a couple pancakes.

"We're visiting the annoying cousins today," She mumbled, rolling her eyes. "The really annoying ones."

"The one with the little boy who threw that stick at your ear?" I questioned.

She glared at me. "Yes."

"I can't believe he threw a stick at your ear," I mused, trying to hold in my laughter. "What an evil little kid."

"He has anger issues! Then theres her sister who still plays with barbies even though she's in 5th grade, and then the teenage boy who's a perv, not to mention Jaycey who is just flat out weird," Lauren explained while piling a few pancakes onto a plate.

I laughed, standing up and grabbing a few plates out of the pantry. I got the syrup out of the refrigerator and set it down next to the frying pan on which she was currently making the pancakes.

"You know, they hate us anyways so I don't understand why we have to go," She shook her head as I piled two pancakes on my plate.

"You mean you," I smirked, shoving my face with pancakes. Damn, she was good at cooking. "These are amazing."

"I made them just for you," She smiled.

"Right," I rolled my eyes, "or because your just trying to get on my good side so I'll go with you today?"

"No! I just don't wanna do it alone," She pouted. "Please please please please pleaseeeee?"

"Well I don't know! Justin said he was gonna come by later," I explained with a full mouth.

"I don't think my mom would want him to come along," She sat down next to me and started eating. "But please. I don't want to do this alone. Please please please pleaseee."

"No," I shook my head, "I don't want to play barbies today." I laughed as she glared at me.

"Fine," She shrugged, "I guess I'll just show Justin those pictures of you from 5th grade when we gave each other make-overs.."

I gasped. "You wouldn't!!!"

"I would," She nodded with a smirk on her face. "Now, what was the answer to my question?"

I moaned, realizing that I would have to go now. "Fine. I'll go with you to see your stupid cousins."

"Yes!!" She jumped up before hugging me. "Your the best."

"I know," I mumbled.

***

"I don't want you to go," Justin complained, watching as I frantically searched through my closet.

"What the heck do you wear to go see your cousins?" I asked, ignoring his complaints. There was no way he was going to see those pictures, so I had no choice other than to go. It was only for a couple hours, right, and it wouldn't be too bad? Oh who was I kidding, it was probably going to horrible.
