Emily moved on the bed uncomfortably as I sat next to her. After kissing for nearly a good 5 minutes she pulled back. She had this look of regret on her face and it killed me.
"Em..." I spoke softly while carefully taking her hand in mine, afraid of scaring her with a single mistake.
Emily turned to me and looked into my eyes. I was afraid. Wonder if she could feel it, see it. Could she feel that it was her that I wanted all along and now after kissing, would it even matter anything to her? Would she go back to Dan like nothing ever happened? I was scared as hell.
"I don't know Melanie... I don't know anything anymore." She whispered as her eyes drifted back to the floor, gaining a melancholic aurora.
I signed and gently got up. Then I turned her and saw her not even moving or looking at me. I bended over a little so we were at eye level. Putting my hand on her chin, and softly turning her head to me, I spoke.
"How do you feel when you look at me?" Her mouth formed a flat line before her eyes glanced at my lips for a second before looking back at me. But she said nothing or moved.
I boldly put my right hand on her inner tight and started drawing little circles. I could feel her skin trembling under my touch. Touching her, even if it was on the clothes she was wearing, made a heat rush all over my body. She squeezed her eyes tight and took a deep breath. Her hands were holding the end of the bed tightly, as if she didn't she would fall.
"How do you feel when I touch you?"
I leaned forward and stopped right in front of her face. Her eyes were still closed and I took this as an oppourtunity to admite her beauty. How can someone be this beautiful? My lungs shrienked inside and I gulped down hard, trying to get away from the dryness of my throat.
"How do you feel..." I whispered amd trailed off near ending. I leaned more and finally met with her awaiting lips. And again my stomach felt weird. Heat evident on my face. Kissing her felt like the end of the world as we now it. I felt her body jerked under my lips. Unfortunatly before I or we, could do anything else reality came back knocking our doors, mocking.
"Emily?" Dan called from outside. Emily bolted away from my touch with wide eyes and it felt like the scene from Twilight when Edward jumped back from Bella. I looked at her flatly and bit my lip.
She opened her mouth to say something while looking at me but stumbled.
"I-I am coming in a second!" Then she looked at me for a second with something unrecognizable in her eyes before getting out of the room, leaving me all alone in dark.
I sighed and stayed there for a few minutes before going back to the table. Feeling left alone and upset. But what was I even expecting? Emily declaring her undying love for me, yeah right, as if.

The next day came with bad weather. It had rained all night long and the reporters said it would again today. After the "eventful" dinner I went straight to home, mumbling a formal thanks and goodnight to both Emily and Dan. Thanks to my flat face they did not noticed anything different about how I behaved, everyone except Em.
I was at the Duke's, cleaning a table when I saw Taylor and Nicole come inside. I waited for Emily to come right after them but it never happened. Well, it was okay to think we were not talking again, I guessed.
I reached to their table while Taylor was still in the process of taking her coat.
"Goodmorning Mel." Taylor spoke, Nicole after her. Nicole was wearing a cute little bunny hat while Taylor was in her formal outfit. They looked like the opposites of each other but this made them a stronger couple in my opinion.

Random•2• She was now standing up, her face in visiable horror. She slowly touched her lips and frowned a little. I got up but Em took a few steps back like I was a fatal disease. I don't want to lie, it hurt, so much. But then I took a few steps more as...
