The next day I woke up with sun's warm greeting through my curtain. I felt fuzzy, tingly, weird. I stretched my arms with a smile on my face and hop off the bed. Then with a spontaneous idea I decided to actually use some make up on my eyes to a work day. Usually I wouldn't care but I felt like using some for today.
After using some eyeliner and a little bit lip gloss, I styled my hair. Not forgetting to put my favorite perfume on, I made my way back to the bedroom and got dressed.
It was 7.47 when I got out of the apartment and began walking to the bus station. While doing so, I remembered the day I met Dani on the way. And when Dani came in to mind I couldn't help but to realize I didn't give her the new updates. I reached for my phone, which was on my back pocket and dialed her number. After a few rings she picked up with a grumpy voice.
"What?"
"Well good morning to you too sunshine." She groaned and I heard her yawn a second later.
"Sorry, it's just too... early."
"Oh shut up and go live your day lazy ass."
"Yeah, yeah, why did you call me anyway?"
I grinned through the phone even though she couldn't see it. "I've got stuff to tell you about."

I was standing behind the counter, organizing the cups when I saw Taylor and Nicole enter the shop, hand to hand, as usual. Nicole was laughing vibrantly as Taylor hanged to her waist, her cheeks red. Nicole then said something and kissed the top of her lover's head. It was both sweet and a little bit of annoying. I had no reason to felt like that but I couldn't help it. I envied them, their relationship.
Then my main girl arrived looking gorgeous as ever . Emily was holding a couple of books in her hand as she entered the café. There was a sudden change of temperature as I caught a glimpse of her. She was in her usual mood, happy, excited, alive. Her nose was a little red probably due to chilly weather but I couldn't help but to want to peck the top of her cute little nose. She held the door for a few other and said something to them. And here I was watching her like a creep. Jeez, get yourself together Melanie.
She went to where Nicole and Taylor was and sat next to them. I put down the cups I was putting in order and was about to walk to their table. But of course the 15 year old love sick in me ran to the nearest mirror, inside Adam's room and fixed my hair.
After deciding I was decent enough I began walking to them with a smile on my face. "Hello my favorite customers in the whole wide world." Taylor rolled her eyes as Nicole giggled. Em just looked at to my way and smiled like an idiot before mumbling a shy hi. Guess I wasn't the only one nervous.
"Girls I heard there is a festival nearby, we should check it out." Nicole announced. Taylor then grinned mischievously and it was then I knew something smart was about to leave her mouth.
"Well, I knew for a fact Melanie loooves scary rides, don't you Mel?" I went wide eyes as I understood what she was referring to.
"It was one time Taylor! One time!"
"Umm... what are you talking about?" Emily finally decided to talk, unfortunately it was my pride which was going down.
"Melanie peed her pants one time when we were in a 'scary house'."
"It was a long time ago!" I tried to dismiss the topic. However Taylor was on fire today. Feel the sarcasm.
"It was a year ago Mel." Taylor so kindly reminded. Meanwhile Nicole and Emily burst into laughter. I playfully hit Em's shoulder but smiled. "Shut up."
