Phillips couldn't get to us right away. Bella been fighting to stay awake because of the fever setting in from the infection in her leg. She tugs on my arm and I look down at her and she starts signing. You smell that Edward? I looked at her confused. Then I took a smell of the air. Even though you could smell the wood burning there was a different smell.

There was like a dirt wet smell in the air. The smell you smell just before it rains. I slowly got up with Julie in my arms and walked over to the edge. I looked up to the sky and looked around for any sign of dark clouds. Then I felt a drop of water. I turned towards Bella and the boys.

Then the rain started. All we could do is laugh all of us. I sat beside Bella and put one arm around her. Then we finally heard the helicopter. Bella smiles up at me. I kiss her on the forehead. Bella signs to me.
What was that you were going to ask me when I saw you face to face by the way. I almost thought kids forgotten about that. "I was going to ask you to marry me!" I chuckled.

Bella eyes went wide before the paramedics took her. But before they did a single tear fell. "Edward you need to let us take the baby so we can check you out."

"No, they can check me out at the hospital. I'm not letting go of Julie yet please!" I got on the helicopter with everyone else. I grew attach to these kids I'll admit to that. I sat there and watch as they worked on Bella before we took off. But then one of them went to try to cut her the rest of her protective pants off and didn't say a word to her and she screamed out.

"Bella look at me. Just look at me don't worry about what they're doing. They have to do there job alright." Bella nodded to me. "Sir I need to look at the baby." I turned and looked at him. "Her name is Julie and I'm not releasing her until I see a doctor. I made a promise to her mother and I tend to keep it." The paramedic just nodded and went to help with Bella.

I look back at Bella and noticed she was out. "Whats wrong with her?" I asked. "We gave her something for the pain so we could stabilize her leg more." I just nodded. I watched as they put an oxygen mask on over face. As we landed at the hospital they took Bella off into the hospital first.

Then I went with the boys and Julie. When I got in I finally gave Julie to nurse. "Promise you Julie I will see you soon." I lean down and kissed her on the forehead. Then I kneeled down on one knee to the boys. One was in a wheelchair. "Now I need you guys to be strong for your grandma can you do that for me?"

"Yes sir!" They both said. "Edward!" I turned to looked to Justin.
"Yeah, Justin." I said. "Whats going to happen to Julie now that.." He couldn't finish tears started to fall from his eyes. "Well I'm going to see if she can come live with me and Bella." A big smile went on his face. "Tell you guys what. How about I talk to your grandma and see if you guys can come visit us in Michigan on your summer vacation."

"Really, you mean we can see you guys again?" Justin asked. "Yep!" Thomas ran up to me and gave me a hug. "Time to go!" The nurse said. I nodded my head. I let go of Thomas. "I'll come by and check on you guys. They waved to me. I stood up and followed the nurse to a different er room.

Later my mother and father come in into the room. "Hey there!" My mother ran up to me and wrapped her arms around me. "Don't you ever do that to us again Edward you scared us to death." I wrapped my good arm around her to calm her down. "Mom I'm alright. Please calm down." I look up to my dad for the second time in his life I saw tears in his eyes. "Do you guys know how Bella doing, no one will tell me anything. Not even about Julie or the boys." They look at each other for a moment then my dad walks to the other side of the bed. "Dad what's going on?"

"Bella still in surgery. They told us that she might lose her leg. It's a slight chance though. Julie and the boys have to stay in hospital a few days. The order boy has a broken leg. But I have a bit of bad news."
