BETTER THAN I CAN EVER HOPE FOR IN MY ENTIRE LIFE Book Four

Edward saves Bella

                                       Edward pov

  I woke up to Bella sitting in front of me just staring.Then I could feel the static in the air. "Do you feel that?" All Bella did is nodded. Then she turned and faced me and pointed up. I looked at the expression on her face. "We need to move up the mountain don't we?"
She nodded. She signed to me. I have a bad feeling about this Edward. It's to dry out here. Before she even could finish out of nowhere there was a lighting.

  Bella gasped. Just behind her up on top of the hill lighting hit the top of the tree's and they started falling. But little did we know they were going to start a slide down to us. I didn't have time to think before I wrapped my arm around Bella and rolled us down into to the creek. "UMMMHHHHPPP!"

 "UGGGHH!" I screamed out in pain from my ribs when we landed in the water. I was on top off Bella when we landed. I could feel her pushing on me. I took my good arm and pushed myself up and looked down at her. "Are you alright?" She nodded and reached her hand up and cupped my cheek. I shook my head. "It hurts but I will be ok." I looked up to where we were just sitting and there was tree's there on fire.

 I could feel Bella crawl out from under me and then I heard her gasp.
I turn and looked in her direction and looked around. We were almost surrounded by fire. I slowly moved to Bella. "Bella where's your walkie?" She didn't pay no attention to me. "BELLA WHERE IS YOUR WALKIE?" She finally turned and looked up at me.

 She reached into her jacket and grabbed the walkie out handed it to me. "Look at me Bella, were going to get out of this together. We are still going to go up that mountain. You understand me." She nodded.

                                     Bella pov

   I couldn't believe what was happening. Edward saved my life first off. Lighting still striking, but there's no rain. Second we been split off from Rich and the other team. Third Edward hurting more than he' s telling me. Third I don't know what we're going to do.

  I walked away from Edward to get a better picture of what we could do. I could hear Edward on the walkie but I blocked him out. I saw the opening where the fire wasn't burning, I walked up a little ways and noticed it goes up the mountain. I knew I had to get us up the mountain. I ran back to Edward. I noticed he was still on the walkie.
I started to pull on his jacket to get his attention. "What is Bella?" I signed to him. We need to go now. We can go that way. You can lean on me for support.

  "Bella no it's too much on you." I signed again with more demand in my signing. We have no choice Edward, there's no other way. If we stay here we're going to die. Edward looks into my eyes for a moment and then nods. "Your right!" He puts his arms around my shoulder and we head off.
