Chapter 10

1 year after JC adopted Srujana,

Kian's POV:

"Hey bro, get your back bro," I got a Facebook notification. I was sleeping so peacefully. "Mkay!!!! What's up with this FB???" I asked myself. "It's Srujana's birthday." The notification read. I was so shocked cause I forgot about my girlfriend's birthday. Okay, she's not yet my GF but how can I forget her birthday!?!?!?

I ran to the toilet, brushed my teeth and ran down. All the O2L guys were there. "Finally you're here!!!!" JC said. "Everything's ready. All you got to do is wear this suit, go on one-knee and propose to her." JC said as he gave me a suit, a ring and big box. "H-how do you k-know???" I asked. "Sam told me. Enough of chatting. Now go get ready go!" JC said as he pushed me.

In 10 minutes, I came down, all set to propose to Srujana. "You look handsome bro...for the first time!" Sam said. "Thanks man. For both the compliment and breaking my love to JC." I truly thanked him.

JC played the O2L theme.

Srujana's POV:

I heard the O2L theme. I woke up and brushed my teeth. When I went down, everyone except Kian was there. They wished me happy birthday. "I'm sure this will be the best birthday present you have ever got. Wanna know what it is?" JC asked. "Obviously, dad!!!" I said excitedly.

Kian was well-dressed. He had something on his hand behind him. He went on one-knee in front of me. I had high hopes that he was gonna propose. Unfortunately, he played with my feelings! He gave me a big box. I opened it immediately. There was a pair of high heels. I was seriously disappointed. I turned around and cried.

After crying for a few seconds or mintues, I turned to thank him. "Thanks for the- Oh My God Kian Robert Lawley. Are you kiding me!!!!!" I said as I looked at what he was doing. He was still on one-knee but this time, he had a ring in a box ( obviously the box was opened ). He asked me, "Suki, you've been...no, I've been loving you since I saw you in the orphanage. Suki, you are really the love of my life. Please say yes to my propose. Will you be my girlfriend?" "Kian, I swear. I didn't expect this. And to your question, obviously yes, I will!!!!" I said as I teared.

After he put the ring on my finger, he stood up and kissed me on my forehead!

I cut the cake that JC brought and fed Kian first, then my dad and then my other brothers.

That day was really unforgetable and special for me!
