Part Fifteen

Kelsey's P.O.V.

For the passed three weeks, my routine had been the same. I cook for the boys before I leave for work, and, as my shift comes to an end, one of them will be waiting for me outside the cafe. Sometimes, when both of them can't come, I would walk home alone. I don't mind though since it was just a 20 to 25 minutes walk and it gives me time alone to think about things. Unless Michael was there to visit me, he'd insist to wait and give me a ride home.

Yeah, he visits me every other day and it was pretty nice having him around. I admit, I'm growing feelings for him. He is so sweet and funny. Plus, I have this crazy feeling that I knew him all along. But, of course, I kept it to myself. I don't wanna ruin the relationship we currently have as friends nor his relationship with Alli.

I don't get it actually. He found out she was cheating on him but still managed to stay with her - especially after the other guy was found dead three days after he found out. Maybe it was out of pity. But, then again, it's similar to what I used to do with Shawn. Maybe it was love.

And I envy her.

Just thinking about him makes me happy. He helped me forget about Shawn.

"Kelsey!" Someone shouted, startling me. Uncle was nice to me. He gives me credit in things I do and even lets me work overtime when I need to earn more. He treats me as a family which I was longing for after leaving four years ago.

But today he's a little grumpy. He went out for a drink with some of his friends and went back drunk. Daniel gets shouted constantly over the most stupid things.

"Kelsey! What's taking you so long?!" He called again.

"Kels," Danny said with a worried tone. "Do you want me to come with you? He's just scary when he's drunk, you know."

"I'll be fine, Danny, thanks," I smiled, collecting the money from today's sales. Sam is on her rest day so I had to take over the counter for the whole day. The others have left, leaving me, Danny and Uncle to close the café.

"Kelsey!" He called once more, louder than the first two.

"You go ahead, Danny," I nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Alright, take care, Kels," he said. Hesitant to leave, he pulled me in a hug before he left.

I locked the front door just for safety measures before heading inside the office. He was resting his head on his work desk and looked up when I faked coughed. He was eyeing me hungrily and it scares me. There was something with the way he looks.

I should have asked Danny to wait for me, I thought.

I shook the thoughts away. Maybe I'm just overthinking. I'm his niece. He'll do nothing to me.

But.

I was wrong. He kept on staring at me lustfully as I hand him the sales. I tried to ignore it, avoiding eye contact with him as I do my work. I headed to the locker room to fetch my thing and as I was about to close my locker, I felt his large hands on my shoulder which he brought down to my sides and started caressing me.

And that's it. Everything happened so fast.

I was raped by my uncle.
