Kelsey's P.O.V.

Its been a few days since the invitation had arrived - and, I'm not sure if I can still hide the fact that I'm both jealous and envious and hurt all at the same time. I wish I was her but, I guess, this is fate.

I cannot deny the fact that I really do have feelings for him. But, of course, maybe he was just like that and I had just assumed too much that everything he does was because he like's me, too. I mean, wake up. I should have seen it - he doesn't - he's with her.
I feel bad for hinn though after what Luke said. He has every right to know what she's doing Behring his back. But, I don't want to be that girl who said it to stop the wedding of the guy she likes. Maybe they were just so in love with each other that it doesn't matter if she did cheated on him.

"Kelsey?" Shawn said, snapping me back to reality. Shawn and I had beeb hanging out lately. I'd like to think that this was his way of winning me back. He's been such a gentleman these days and stuff. And, also, maybe this was my way to forget about Michael - since I've been trying to avoid him, giving him random excuses whenever he's asking to hang out with me. "Are you even listening to me?"

I looked at him, smiling.
"Sorry," I started. "I was just---"

"No, its okay," he cut me off, smiling. "Anyway, so, they want me to release my next single next month. Its cool, right? And I'm really---"

I checked my phone.

"---excited about it---"

9:30 pm. Three new messages.

"---cause it means a lot to me---"

'Ashes (8:49 pm): Its almost 9. Where are you?' I read.

Whoopsie. Being an overprotective friend, Ashton made a deal to let me go out with Shawn if he brings me home by 9. They've been doing this since then and so far Shawn didn't miss one. Not until now, I'm thirty minutes late.

"---I wrote it for you---"

'Ashes (9:05 pm): DAMN IT, KELSEY! ITS 9:05! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?! I SWEAR I'LL TEAR HIM LIMB BY LIMB IF HE TRIES TO DO SOMETHING TO YOU!'

"---I can't wait till you hear it. I... Kelsey---"

'Lukey (9:16 pm): Will you please at least call or message me? Ashton's being all daddy here and I'm pretty sure you're in big trouble, Missy.'

"---you're not listening to me, have!" Shawn whined. I looked up at hin and saw him pouting at me.

"I was listening," I protested. "But the lads want me home now."

He looked at the watch on his wrist. "Oh shit! I forgot. We're super late!"

"I know," I giggled, nodding at him.

He paid for the bill and we hurried off outside to his car. I called Ashton as we make our way back home - and, seeing what Luke was talking about, I told him that we had already separated and I just had to go somewhere to calm him down and save Shawn from getting scolded by him.

"Are you sure?" Shawn asked before I can even close the door. I turned to face him. "Its late at night, you know. We will be in a lot of trouble."

I told him to drop me off a couple of streets away from our place so I canon walk home instead, making it look like what I just had told Ashton.

"I'll be fine, Shawn," I smiled.

"Well, okay," he sighed, giving up. "Just call me when you get home."

"I will," I said. I closed the door. "Thank you for today. I had fun."

"Me too," he grinned, starting the engine. I waved at him, as he drove off.

The moment he was out of sight, I started to head off. But just as I was about to turn around the corner, someone caught up with me.

His manly scent was familiar to me; something I've memorized the smell of. I looked at him, stopping.

"Michael?"

Ashton is cute. Sorry not sorry.
