"Yes, sorry. Zoned out for a bit." I snapped back to it and after ordering we went to sit down and eat.

I poked and prodded at my food for a few minutes before Sam noticed that I was distracted.

"Felicity, what's wrong?" He stopped eating his food and held my hands in his across the table. I hung my head slightly.

"I just..." I sighed. "I feel like I don't even know my own sister anymore." I looked at him for help.

"I'm sorry Lis, I wish I knew what to do." He said sorrowfully. I had lost my appetite.

"I'm just gonna go home," I let go of his soft hands and stood up. "I've got this dinner to go to tonight with Eliza and I'm not really looking forward to it. Time for a nap." I yawned and he stood up with me.

"Let's go together then. I'll go with you to the dinner if you do me a favor." He smiled at me and stepped closer.

"Ugh," I groaned jokingly. "What do you want from me now?" I chuckled lightly.

"I need a date." He suddenly got really shy.

"Where?" I laughed again.

"A wedding...."  He hunched his shoulders and the look on his face was of pure embarrassment.

"I'll go with you." I burst out in giggles. "Who when and where?"

"I'll text you later about it." He said and wrapped me into a tight hug. "I'm sorry Lis, I love you to the moon and back." He smiled at me.

"I love you too." I gave him a peck on the cheek before turning on my heel to head outside.

"I'll see you at 7!" He shouted from halfway across the food court. I waved back and went out to my car.

After driving by Walmart to pick up ginger ale, pickles, peanut butter, and oranges, (weird pregnancy cravings, don't judge me .-.) I headed home with thoughts of sleep in mind. I stepped through the front door with groceries in hand, plopped them on the kitchen island and made my slow journey up the stairs for a long bath.

I drew the warm water and got out my favorite calming lavender bath bomb and sat in the tub for a solid 20 minutes. My eyelids were heavy when I finally looked at the time. It was already 5:30 and the sun was starting to set, I could see the array of beautiful colors shine through the bathroom window. I threw my hair in a top knot and glanced at my phone.

17:32 Sam: Dress code?

17:33 Felicity: Just come nicely, you know my parents. :p

17:38 Sam: I'll be there in 15 minutes :)

17:40 Felicity: See you then :)

After finishing my makeup I walked into my room and put on my favorite off white sparkly dress, I put on my silver pointed toe flats and went back into the bathroom to add a little bit of curl to my hair before I walked down the stairs with my star clutch and sweater in hand. Sam was dressed in a very nice gray vest and red bow tie with gray slacks and a white shirt. As soon as he saw me walk down the stairs, he smiled and gave me a kiss on the forehead when I got to the bottom. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we rubbed our noses together before Chelsea nudged my shoulder and whispered "get a room!" Jason was standing next to Chelsea in a black suit and a light purple shirt and tie.

My mother and father were still upstairs finishing up a few things when the phone rang. Chelsea answered the phone and when she came back to our little group she told us, "She's already on her way to Solano's. She wasn't sure of the address so she just said she'll meet us there." She shrugged and we headed outside into 2 cars. My parents took their Lexus and all of us piled into Jason's Civic.
