Death Party.

Sam wouldn't be in the Dauntless Club, but he could definitely be somewhere around it. The club is a few blocks behind; I jump off and land on clayey soil. I walk and walk until the faint sound of music hits my ears, then a thought hit's me: They wouldn't return Sam with nothing in return.

Death Party.
Death.

Someone will die. I could die. For all I know now is that I could be leading myself to my own death. They didn't ask for money and if it's revenge I don't remember the reason to it. It's difficult to be and not be a person at the same time.

I may not believe in myself, but I believe in what I'm doing.

Yes. If I die, I die with a live saved. It's totally worth it. I live in a dangerous world, and I'm not so attached to life that I'd do anything to survive.

Take the risk, my mind tells me, 'cause sometimes there is no next time, no second chance, no time out. Sometimes it's just now or never. So I do,
I take the risk.

I move towards the sound of music with the fear always there. I feel the fear and move forward anyway. I have this memory from Abnegation, my father teaching me how to ride a cycle when I was Five, "What if I fall?" I had asked him and he replied, "But what if you fly?" Of course I fell. But those words kept me from quitting. Made me stay there and want to fly.

And I will not quit now. The sound of music is more prominent now, I see it's coming from the club. I start towards the club just then I see a flash of light from the corner of my eyes. I look to my right and see a dark narrow alley.

Death Party

I go into the alley. Walk into the various twist and turns until I hear another sound. Music. But different kind of music. It's nothing like the music in Erudite, candor, Amity or Dauntless. Abnegation don't listen to music. This music makes you feel. . .makes you wanna be high. The way in is covered with multiple curtains and clothes.

"You here for the party?" Says a voice. His figure emerges from the shadows. He has long shoulder length brown hair clearly unkept, each strand of different lengths. Factionless.

"Um, I. . ." should I say yes?

The man just laughs, "You definitely are here for the party." he seems drunk.

"I'm just looking for someone--"

"Sam?" there's something odd about the drunk smile on his face.

"Yes."

"I suppose you will find him in here." using both hands he gestures towards to entry of the party.

I dart toward to entry.

"Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop!" Is he insane?

I stop and face him as he digs into his jacket and shows me a bottle.

"Drinks it." he says still drunk.

"What is it?"

"The price of admission."

Maybe I'm in the wrong place.

"Drink it!" he shouts.

With a flinch I grab the bottle and drink it. A burning sensation goes through my throat leaving a bad taste. He giggles, then grabs my shoulder.

"Enjoy the party." he pushes me inside. The smell of alcohol hit my nose.

How did the factionless find alcohol?

The place is clouded, there smoke or something that looks like smoke all around me. The room is poorly lit with some blue and red lights. People are packed together with sweat all over them. I push my way though people along with my mind becoming more cloudy with each step.

It's getting difficult to register things, every thing seems to be a blur, a mixture of three in one. I begin to hear thing I'm not even supposed to hear, like the sound of my breath in this loud room.

What did I drink?

I do my best to clear my mind and begin to scan for familiar blond hair of a pair of green eyes. Instead of green I spot blue. Dark blue. Tobias makes his way towards me, pushing through the crowd. He too seems drunk.

"What are you doing here?" I ask with a heavy breath.

"This place. Chicago isn't meant for us." his voice is like three Tobias's speaking at once.

"what? What are you saying?" my own voice seems to be coming from 3 different directions.

"Let go." he breaths. How can I let go of Chicago? After all that's happened?

"How?"

"Like this." he then kisses me. Slow and gentle. He pulls away, and don't see his blue eyes. They're green. I gasp and pull away from is hold with my mind bewildered.

"You're not him." You're not Tobias.

Hurt crosses through his eyes. He smiles a sad smile and blends into the crowd.

"Sam." I call. But he's not here.

"Sam! " Nothing makes sense, every voice, every face is blurry. The music itself seem to come from different directions.

You die. I die.

Voices again.

Be Brave.

They come go.

Remember.

Blurry.

You're Divergent.

Can't understand! I fall on my knees clenching my head.

Fear doesn't shut you down.
It wakes you up.

Can't hear. Pain. My head. Ouch. Feels like a million things are being hammered into my head at once.

Promise me. Promise me you
won't go to Erudite.

I feel pain.
So. Much. Pain.
I shut my eyes.

I love you too. I'll see you soon.

Then, the gun goes off.
