6. Four

Sam sits on the infirmaries bed with his face buried into his hand.

"Why did you kiss him?" he questions

God! I'm tired of answering this question!
"Sam for Gods sake I didn't kiss him! He kissed me!"

"Then why didn't you push him away?"

"I was to shocked to react. I didn't even kiss back."

"And may I ask why did he kiss you?"

"I don't know. He just grabbed my face and kissed me."

He sighs

"He also referred to me as 'Tris' " I add. I still don't understand why he's angry.

"Okay then. Lets go." we walk out of the infirmary and see the man who kissed me sitting on a chair as he continuously shakes his head with his face buried into his hands. Zeke is telling him something with a sad look and Shauna trying comfort him. Christina just stares at me with a sorrowful look.

I blue eyed man looks up and and sees me. His eyes are blotchy like he's been crying a lot. He makes his way towards me but Sam steps in the middle.

"Stay away from her." Sam warns.

"Or what? And who are you to tell me that?" snaps the man.

"Someone close to her." the man seem hurt by this statement.

"Well that isn't stopping me."

He pushes Sam out of the way and stands inches away from me. He just gazed at me for a while and then says, "You don't remember me?"

"I don't know you."

"Does Tobias sound familiar?"

I shake my head.

"Four?"

I flinch. I heard 'Four' when I was eyeing the ferris wheel. I stay quiet. The man smiles a very small smile.

"It's familiar isn't it." He say is more like a statement.

I shake my head and open my mouth to deny but he cuts me off.

"Don't deny it. Your silence gave it away."

I just glare at him as I don't really have a answer. I don't want to accept it and I can't deny for some reason.

"Hey! Now stop forcing her. Let's go Lena." voices Sam.

I nod and walk out with him. Christina follows me.

"Okay Lena bena, if you need anything am just a knock away."

"Kay."

"Okay then. . .should I leave?"

"Sure. I need rest."

He nods and then leaves the room. We've been given rooms to live in. Sam is in the one just opposite to mine. I caught a glimpse of the window. The sky is painted with beautiful shades of orange, red, purple and blue.

I kick off my shoes and lie on the bed and close my eyes.

I jump off the edge. My heart starts
racing and adrenaline rushes through my
body and the wind whistles in my ears.
Suddenly my body hits something. A net. I
see a few hands stretching out to me at the
edge of the net, so I grab the first one I can
reach and pull myself across. I roll off and
I would've fallen first-face on the wooden
floor if he had not caught me. I look up and
see a blue eyed boy with brunette hair. The boy
who kissed me. "I'm Four welcome to
dauntless."

I jolt into a sitting position. I wasn't asleep, I just closed my eyes. I notice I drenched in sweat. Just then I hear a knock on the door.
