CAM POV

The morning light wakes me up softly. I open my eyes and I can't help but a wide smile is forming on my tired face. Today is the day, from now I'm gonna live my life without regrets or in pain 'cause I'm not alone anymore. I got him: my crush, my player, my love Nash Grier. I open my phone and I read the message that I've just received.

Text from Nash:" 'Morning beautiful, miss you already. See you at school."

Text from Cameron: " Love u Nash, see you later xx"

After I answer him, I take a shower and I do my usual morning routine. I walk downstair and I grab an apple. I can't wait to see him, Im not even hungry. I run into my car and I start driving as fast as I can. I find a lot in the school parking and I run through the hall till my locker but I stop a couple of steps before. There's Shawn against it, probably waiting for me.. I completely forgot about him and when we hung out after me and Nash broke up. I approach him trying to not show my anxiety but as soon as he smiles to me my heart starts pounding slower.

Shawn:"Hi Cameron, Can I talk you about... something pretty important ??"

Oh my God no, I don't wanna face the reality. Please, tell me you like someone who's not me..

Cameron:"Ehm sure.. but before I gotta tell you something you would like to know.. I guess.."

Shawn:"Ok tell me." He smiles widely.

I don't wanna be the reason he won't smile anymore.

Cameron:"Ehm you know.. Nash and I.. we are together, officially together. His parents know this too. We are a couple and we love each others and noone of us is going to cheat and yes.."

Shawn:"Ehi calm down Cameron, I got that.. and I'm so happy for you two, really. Wait !! I got an idea to celebrate.. and it's about my news.."

Cameron:"So.. it's ok for you ?? I mean we hung out before and I thought.. you know.."

Shawn:"Ahahah no Cam, I don't like you.. I mean you're so nice and good looking but just not my type so chill" He giggles

Cameron:"Oh ok.. sorry.. now tell me about your "something pretty important"??"

Shawn:"You know I can play the guitar and sing ?? Well, I was performing in a pub near my home and after the show a manager came to me and gave me the possibility to sing on a real stage !!! He said if I'm good enough, he'll help produce my music and become famous.. stuff like that.." His eyes are shining of joy, he really deserves this.

Cameron:" OH MY GOD !!!!!! IT'S AMAZING" I scream and he blushes

Shawn:"I knooooow !!! I'm terrified because I've never been all alone in front of an audience.. then I hope lots of people will come so I can sing the soul out of me and share a wonderful moment with you all.. " He's excited and at the same time nervous.

I hug him tight, patting his back and trying to confort him.

Cameron:"Everything's gonne be alright ok ?? We all be there to support you, don't worry." I whisper in his ear while I leave him

Shawn:"Thank you Cam. It means a lot to me. I'm just.." He stops and his jaw drops. I don't know what's going on but he looks behind me.

I turn back and my blood freezes. He looks angry, very angry.

Cameron:"C-Cart-ter ??" I stutter like an idiot but he really scares me.. and also Nash isn't here to protect me

Carter:"You stole my boy, little bitch... I think you deserve a lesson.." He steps closer to me and I shake as a leaf.
