“Blaze!” I screamed as he picked me up bridal-style. I tried to escape by kicking and screaming, but that didn’t seem to do much.
“Shhhhh!” he whispered into my ear. “It’s fine, calm down.”
My body melted into his arms and I just let him carry me to his car. My face was buried in his chest as he carried me. He’d kidnapped me from work, and I must admit, I was thankful for the good timing.
“Blaze… Where are we going?” I asked, my voice coming out muffled by his rock-hard chest.
“A place,” he said chuckling.
He put me in the car and wrapped a blindfold around my head. I pouted, as I wasn’t too big of a fan of surprises.
“I hate you…,” I said pouting.
“You’re cute when you’re mad,” He said with a smirk.
I felt my cheeks burning. I turned away in an attempt to hide my obvious blushing.
“Aww, is someone blushing? How cute,” he cooed jokingly as he pinched my cheek. He seemed to really enjoy kidnapping me while I obviously didn’t.
I sighed in annoyance as I tried my best to wait patiently. Where could he be taking me? I couldn’t help but be a bit nervous. My thoughts wandered around for a little while, and time passed.
“So Xoe…,” he said, bringing me back to reality.
“So Blaze…,” I mimicked, starting to drift back into my thoughts once again.
“You wanna be my girlfriend?” he asked out of the blue.
“Mhmmm uh yeah…,” I replied, not paying attention to what he was saying. I was trying to come up with some ideas as to where he was taking me. It’s pretty far away from home because we’ve been driving for awhile, I thought to myself. Well I hope it’s someplace cool, because if I went through all of this for nothing, I sw-
“Xoe? Xoe!” Blaze yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts.
“H-huh? What?” I said, oblivious to everything he’d been saying.
“We’re here… but don’t move.”
Blaze killed the ignition and got out of the car. I couldn’t hear where he was going, and became nervous he’d left me for a second. Then my door opened.
“I’m piggy backing you, Xoe, and don’t try to get off or you’ll fall,” he warned me, sounding serious.
I nodded my head and reached up to him, like a little kid begging to be picked up. He lifted me off the seat and started to walk away, me clinging on to his back for dear life. Gosh, it was cold. It was only February and I didn’t have a jacket with me since he just kidnapped me from work. I could feel the goosebumps on my arms.
After what seemed like forever, he set me down on what felt like a bed. But we were outside?
“I promised you would like it,” he said excitedly as he lifted the blind fold from my eyes.
I smiled at him and looked around. Where were we? It looked like a little house… I looked out the window and saw that we were a good 20 feet about ground. He climbed 20 feet with me on his back?!
“This is a tree house I built with my family when I was younger,” he explained. “but that’s not even the best part…”
Blaze’s head almost touched the ceiling when he stood up. He touched a panel on the ceiling with his hands and pushed upward, revealing an opening in the ceiling.
