"Okay students listen up! We have a new transfer student from X High. Please come in, Kaneki-kun" the teacher announced and you turned your attention to the opening door.

A white haired guy entered the class and almost every girls in your class, let out a small squeak and gasps of excitement. The guy walked over next to the teacher and flashed a sweet smile which made the guys frown in annoyance because of the squeals from the girls.

*Is his hair color even real?* was the first thing that came into your mind.

"Please introduce yourself" the teacher says.

"Hello everyone. I'm Kaneki Ken and I'm from X High. Please take care of me" he said bashfully and scratched his cheek.
His act made the girls aww-ed but you, on the other hand was feeling uncomfortable and worried. You noticed the air surrounding him was dark and mysterious. There were no emotions in his eyes.

*A... Ghoul?*

You shook your head and blinked. You didn't realize that you were staring at him until he made an eye contact with you. The corner of his mouth curled up into a small smirk and you felt shivers running down your spine. You quickly looked away with a slightly flushed cheek and bite your lower lip.

*He... He actually looks so hot oh god*

"Please take your seat, Kaneki-kun" the teacher told him and he bowed, before walking to an empty seat on the row next to yours.

As he walked pass you, you were looking down, nervously fumbling with your fingers. You heard him chuckle lowly which made your heart race. Classes started and you were in the same Biology class with Kaneki. In the end, you got paired up with Kaneki for a project.

"So, (name)-san. Which topic do you prefer?" Kaneki asked which made you snap out from your daze.

"O-oh? Anything is fine by me" you smiled awkwardly.

"We'll be doing (insert preferred topic) then?" He asked and you nodded.

"Alright" he went to the teacher and told him about your choice.

-lunch-
You dragged yourself to the garden where you usually eat your lunch with your close friends. You saw Touka with your other friend, (bf/n), chatting.

"(name)-chan!" (Bf/n) brightened as you sat down with them.

"I'm tired" you whined and they just giggled.

"You're always tired" Touka said and you rolled your eyes playfully.

"I heard the new transfer student was in your HR and Bio! How was it? Is he kind?" (Bf/n) asked excitedly.

"Well... He's okay... I guess? We got paired up in Bio though... It's for a project" you said.

"Oh and you guys don't have to wait for me later. We'll be doing researches later" you continued.

"I see. Do your best" Touka smiled.

Later that day, you and Kaneki were in the school's library, doing researches for your project. You stretched up your arms and glanced at your wrist watch.

"It's already late, Kaneki-kun. Should we stop here?" You asks.

"Ah sure" he said and organized the textbooks neatly on the table.
