You walked over behind the counter and heaved a painful sigh. You squeezed your eyes shut as you crouched down and covered your face. You felt a pat on your back and looked up. Yomo-san had his usual poker face on but you knew that he was trying to comfort you.

Touka glanced at you worriedly as she jotted down the orders from the other customers. She walked over to you and patted your head as she handed you the orders. You smiled and took in from her. As you were making the drinks, you saw Sasaki kept glancing at you.

You felt slightly uncomfortable and placed the drinks on the tray. "Oh... Shirazu, Urie. We're gonna be late. Let's go" you heard him say and the three men stood up. Sasaki went up to the reception and you went to him. "That would be $12.00" you smiled.

He smiled as he handed the money at you along with a card. "Hm? What..." you took it and blinked. "Feel free to call me" he said bashfully and his act struck you. You blushed and sucked in your cheeks.

"Okay..." you mumbled and you heard somebody said. "Wow, Sassan I didn't know you have that in you" the long haired guy said and the other guy smirked. "Shut up, Shirazu" Sasaki said and dragged the two men with him. You saw a glimpse of his red ears and you smiled. *Cute*

You placed the card he gave you in your pocket and cleaned the tables. You glanced at Touka who was smiling at you teasingly and you blushed, rolling your eyes at her. You placed the used cups on the tray and carried them to the washing area.

~Time skip~

Your shift ended smoothly and you just finished cleaning the dishes. You dried your hands on your apron and went to the changing room. You changed your clothes and hung up your uniform in your locker.

As you went out, Touka walked up to you and you looked at her questioningly. "Are you okay? I mean, you know..." she asked, looking worried. You just smiled and nodded. "Although it was a little bit painful..." you forced a smile.

"I'm sorry, (y/n)" she said and hugged you. You hugged her back and you told her that you needed to do something. "See you around" you said and waved at her as you walked off to the back door. She waved back and you went out.

You stopped by at a bookstore where you and Kaneki always went to in the past. You looked around for a while and sighed. You suddenly felt depressed and went back to your apartment. As you arrived, you went directly to your room and cried yourself to sleep.

You woke up to the sound of your door bell and you washed your face. *Is it Touka...? She won't mind this face then* You stared at your face on the mirror and poked your swollen eyes. "I look horrible" you chuckled and went off to open the door.

"Touka-chan, why are you here at this...time...of...the..." your words trailed off and you stared at the person in front of you in complete shock. He was staring at you, wide-eyed and looking quite worried. "Sa...Sasaki-san" you said.

"Are you okay, (l/n)-san?" he asked and you looked down. "I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me. So, what brings you here?" you asked. "I came to return your handkerchief... I went to the café earlier and you weren't there" he said and handed you the handkerchief.

"I see... How did you know where I live?" you asked as you took it. "I... kind of asked your friend earlier... Touka...?" he said. "That girl...seriously..." you sighed. "Why don't you come in and have some coffee? I mean, you went through all the trouble coming here" you offered.

"Ah... okay then... sorry for disturbing" he said and entered. You closed the door and lead him to the living room. You switched on the TV and smiled. "Please wait here while I prepare the coffee. And feel free to look around" you said and walked off to the kitchen.

You boiled the water and took out two cups. Your heart clenches and you suddenly remembered about your photograph with Kaneki you put on the living room. *Wha...what if he thought I was taking advantage of him?* you thought worriedly.

As you finished brewing the coffee, you carried the cups to the living with slightly shaky hands. You saw him staring at the photograph of you and black haired Kaneki smiling together happily. "Sasaki-san..." you said and he turned around.

You handed him his coffee and nervously glanced at him. He took a sip and smiled. "This is good!" he said and you smiled. "Thanks..." you said. "Um, (l/n)-san, the guy in the photograph. Is he... your boyfriend?" he asked and you froze.

"Y-yes... I didn't know where he currently is though... he didn't tell me" you said, forcing a smile. "S-sorry for asking you such question... he looks like me so, I can't help but ask" he said apologetically and you shook your head.

"It's fine" you said and sipped your coffee. "What are you working as?" you asked as you studied his clothing. "Ghoul investigator" he said and you nodded. "I see..." you nodded and smiled.

"Are you a college student?" he asked and you nodded. "I go to Kamii University" you stated. "You must be really clever!" he said in amazement and you just shook your head. "I'm actually an average" you smiled.

You both chatted a while longer and you noticed that most of his acts are awfully similar to Kaneki's. "Kaneki-kun..." you whispered unconsciously. Sasaki looked at you questioningly. "What did you say, (l/n)-san?" he asked.

"Eh? Did I just say something?" you asked and Sasaki nodded. "What did I say?" you asked. "You said... "Kaneki-kun..." I think" he said and your heart skipped a beat. Tears started falling from your eyes and Sasaki looked shocked.

You wiped them away but it kept on flowing out. You saw Sasaki stood up and walked up to you. *I'm pretty sure he's leaving* you thought and took a deep breath. You felt a pair of hands wrapped around your body.

You looked up and you were leaning on Sasaki's shoulder. "Sasaki-san..." you whispered and he hugged you tighter. "Cry it all out..." he whispered and you eyes tear up. You hugged him back and you cried softly on his shoulder as he gently stroked your back.

You noticed he has the same scent as Kaneki and you felt yourself calming down. You leaned your head on his chest and you felt him tense up but eventually softened as you let out a quiet sigh. You listened to his heartbeat and closed your eyes.

Both of you pulled away and you felt your face heated up. "Thank you, Sasaki-san" you whispered and he smiled. "Just call me Haise" he said and you nodded, slightly blushing. "Shall we hang out again sometimes?" he asked shyly.

"I don't mind..." you grinned sincerely and he blushed. "Okay then. Um... can you give me your number and mail?" he asked and you nodded. He handed his phone and you typed in your number and mail. "I'll mail you, okay?" he asked as he put on his shoes.

"Okay. Thanks again, Haise-kun. And sorry for making your coat wet" you smiled apologetically. "It's nothing, (f/n)-san. I'll be going then. And thanks for the coffee" he said and you nodded. You watched as he walked away and you went inside, locking the door.

You remembered Kaneki's last sentences before he disappeared.

"My heart only belongs to you."

*Welcome back, Kaneki-kun...*

And that's a wrap! I don't know what to say about this ;; Just tell me your opinions ^^ fyi, I didn't include Kaneki's last sentence on the first part of this story. It's kind of an additional for the ending ^_^
