You sighed stressfully as you typed in your stories. You are a novelist whose novels are the bestselling ones so you were quite stressed out because of your schedules. You quit school just to concentrate on your current career. Your relationship with your boyfriend, Kaneki, weren't very close either so you were worried about it at the same time.

You heard knocks from your door and a gentle voice could be heard. "(Y/N)...? I'm coming in" you heard your boyfriend said and leaned your back on your seat. He opened the door and you turned to him. He looked concerned as he walked over to you. "Ken..." you whined and he chuckled.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders. "I'm fine. Just a bit stressed out" you smiled. "Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" he said softly and you nodded sadly. "Ken... I'm sorry for not being able to concentrate on you lately" you muttered sadly.

"It's fine. This is your second novel and there are many people looking forward to it as well" he said calmly. "But still... I feel really bad you know. I want to make it up to you" you pouted and he patted your head. "Just don't overwork yourself, that's enough for me" he said.

"I don't think that's enough" you said thoughtfully. "It is enough for me" he said as he went over to sit on your bed. You turned to face him and he blinked. "What?" he asked and you walked over to him. "I need a hug" you mumbled, blushing, as you sat beside him.

You heard him chuckle and you covered your face in embarrassment. "Alright, come here" he said and you looked up, eyes sparkling. He was opening his arm and his grey eyes were looking at you warmly. You bite your lower lip, preventing yourself to grin like an idiot.

You scooted closer to him and you felt his arm wrapped around you. You hugged him back and your heart was hammering so hard that you thought it might jump out from your ribcage. You inhaled his scent as you close your eyes, enjoying his embrace.

"Seriously, though. I never thought I'll ever fell in love with a ghoul" you said, your voice muffled against his chest. "Well, it's decided by fate" Kaneki chuckled as he played with your hair. You could clearly hear his calming heartbeat, beating the same pace as yours.

"Ken...?" you said and he hummed in response. "What are you going to do with this hair of yours?" you asked and played with fluffy snow white hair. "I'll just leave it like that" he said and you nodded. "I love you, Ken" you said and buried your face on his chest. "I love you too" he said and he kissed the top of your head.

"You know what? I think I can finish my novel faster if this is my every day gift" you said cheekily. "Oh, really?" Kaneki asked teasingly. *Crap. Not good* your eyes widened and you pulled away from the hug.

"A-ahaha!! I think I should continue with my work" you stood up as you gave him a peck on his lips and tried to run away. You felt Kaneki's hand wrap around your wrist and you let out a small yelp. You turned to him and saw him smirking, "Where do you think you're going?".

"Eek!" you responsed and you close your eyes in fear as you felt yourself fell directly to the bed. You felt your wrists being pinned and you opened your eyes, blushing furiously. "Oh? What's this? A tomato? How cute" he joked around as he kissed your cheeks.

"K-Ken...!! Shut up! And let go of me, please" you frowned and he smirked in amusement. *This is what happens when your boyfriend has split personality* you thought and pouted. He pecked your lips and you narrowed your eyes at him.

"Why don't you forget about your work for a while and have fun tonight?"
