Elliott's P.O.V.
It's been six days sense the fight and my mate won't get out of bed . Every night she wakes up crying from yet another nightmare. I hate seeing her like this so vulnerable and broken I just wish I can take her pain away.
"Elliott?" My aunts Susan's voice fills the room as she walks in.
"Yes?" I question and sit up.
"It's time." She replied in a dazed voice.
"Aunt Susan she isn't ready." I sighed and softly rubbed patterns on Snows back.
"Johnnie said today is the day and so has her mother."
"Susan.." I trailed off when the voice of my beautiful mate spoke up.
"I'm ready." She said her voice thick with emotions.
"Snow you don't have to yet baby." I told her as I looked at her in worry.
"It's time." She said and stood up from the bed .
"Lead the way." I sighed and placed my arm around Snows waist.
"We're here." My aunt said and stepped aside so we could enter the basement.
"Oh goodie look who's here the Alpha and his slut of a mate Snow. Come to join the big celebration?" Mario smirked as blood dripped down his chin.
"Mario Santiago you have done me wrong . You stole my daughter raped her and abused her. Because of you she is frightened of even leaving her room . When you were 16 I saved your life and you had made a vow to never do me wrong and to protect my name , you lied. You will no longer have your life."Snow said her eyes glowing and body floating in the air.
"No please Moon Goddess I meant no wrong I didn't know she was your daughter."Mario begged as a look of fright over took his face as he stared into the eyes of my mate.
Snow looked at him with a look of disinterest and started to talk in a different language .A white glow surrounded her body and Mario fell to the floor gasping and clawing at his chest and a green ball of power left his body and went into Snows .
"Elliott Montez my son protect her with your life for the greatest test is coming and only you can choose the path of y'alls future." Snow well the Moon Goddess said before the glow to her disappeared and my mates eyes were back.
"What?" She asked before fainting. I quickly caught her in my arms and carried to the pack doctors room.
"Alpha. " Celeste the packs doctor greeted as she lead me to a bed for my mate.
"What happened to cause her to faint?"
"She was possessed by the Moon Goddess ?" I said in a questioning tone.
"Okay then she's in shock , she should be waking up soon ." Celeste said as she placed a moist towel on Snows head.
"Wake up baby." I whispered as i kissed her cheek a laid down next to her.
"Elliott." Snow muttered in her sleep as she subconsciously scooted closer to me.
"I love you princess ." I said before closing my eyes and falling back to sleep. Man I seem to be sleeping a lot lately.
Snow's P.O.V.
"Oh gosh my head." I groaned as i sat up well tried to, it was kind of hard to do when a big muscular arm was preventing you from doing so.
"Snow ?" Elliott asked as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.
"I need to pee." I said and pushed his arm off of me and ran to the restroom. After finishing my business I realized we weren't in the room anymore.
"Eli why aren't we ... oh.' I trailed off as the memories of earlier filled my thoughts.
"Snow, baby whats wrong why are you crying?" Elliott asked as he walked up to me and gently wiped away my tears.
"Is he... is he dead?" I stuttered as I avoided eye contact.
"Yes he's dead." He softy said.
"I killed someone, oh my god Elliott the Moon Goddess she... and woah." I said as I sat back down on the bed as I tried to understand all this information.
"It's okay ."Elliott said as he gently rubbed my shoulders.
"Wait aren't you mad at me?" I questioned and hesitantly scooted away from him.
"Snow when I found out you were missing i.. i died on the inside , knowing that i wasn't there and didn't save you killed me. I'm your mate I was supposed to protect you and love you instead i hurt you and let you get kidnapped. Snow im so sorry im not a good enough mate for you but please if you only let me I could show you that I'll never let this happen again and that I... I love you." He said looking me in the eyes and slowly lent in and kissed me. Oh gosh this kiss, the feeling of his lips on mine was pure bliss they were soft yet a little rough from being chapped and the sparks that erupted through my body was just amazing. Never have a I ever had a kiss even remotely close to this one and my golly I love it.
"That was.. amazing " He panted as he moved away from my lips and rested his forehead on mine.
"I love you Elliott." I whispered softly in his ears.
