"Snow who are The Dark One's?"Elliott asked me for the hundredth time.
"Your not going to let that go, are you?" I sighed and sat down on a stool. We were currently in the kitchen at the pack house making lunch and Elliott wouldn't stop bugging me about the dark one's. I know he's worried about me but the less about them he knows the safer he'll be, I just don't want him to get hurt because of me.
"No, not really, not until you tell me who they are." He replied.
"Fine." I groaned and folded my arms together as i tried to think of how to tell him who they are but not tell him , if that makes sense.
"The Dark Ones are a group of Ancient vampires. They are the leaders of those who decided to not follow the rules of the vampire kingdom." I said.
"Okay so how does that involve your dream?" He asked.
Fuck how am i getting out of this one? I thought.
"Uhm well you see I'm the only know living hybrid and I also seem to have powers given to me by the moon goddess herself." I replied and stood up to check the lasagna in the oven.
"So that day when..."
"No the moon Goddess temporarily possessed me that day, the only powers i have are to do with the elements i can control Earth and Air." I said and took the pan out of the oven placing it on a cooling rack.
"Wow." He commented and sat down on the counter besides me.
"Yeah." I sighed and rubbed my head as i felt the beginning of a headache start.
"You alright there babe?" He asked in concern . He jumped off the counter and walked behind me and started to massage my head for me instantly causing me to relax.
"Come on love lets sit you down and I'll serve you the food." He smiled and lead me to the table.
"I love you." I said and kissed his chin when he set the plate in front of me.
"I love you too." He said with a goofy smile .
"Awee , Mason why can't you be like that?" Maria said as she walked into the kitchen.
"Damit women why you hitting me."Mason muttered and rubbed his arm.
"Wait your dating?" I questioned.
"Oh yeah we didn't tell y'all. Guys Mason is my mate, we actually knew sense my birthday last month but we kept it as a secret." She said as she started rummaging threw the cabinets for food.
"And this bitch never told me." I said in mock horror as i staired at her.
"Yeah she was afraid of being judged." Mason replied and walked to her hugging her from behind.
"Girl why would you be embarrassed when you have a fine piece of meat like Mason." I smirked causing Elliott to growl and Maria to blush.
"Your mine." He possessively growled and pulled me into his lap pushing his head into my neck to try to calm down.
"Only yours Ellie I'll always be yours."I smiled and kissed him softly on his lips.
"So you know what we should do?" I asked in excitement.
"What?" The three question with a look of uneasiness.
"We should go on a double date." I smiled as Maria's face light up and the boys looked frightened.
"Thats a great idea!"She said and grabbed Masons arm.
"I don't like the sound of a double date but if it makes you happy then I'm happy with it."Mason sighed and quickly kissed Maria's lips.
"Snow!"I heard the excited words of my mother say before she gave me a tight hug.
"Mommy." I muttered and baried my face in her chest as I felt my eyes moisture .
"I missed you so much Snow dont ever do that again young lady." My mom said and smacked my arm as she moved from the hug her eyes filled with unshed tears.
"Snow I'll be in the room so you and your...'mom' can have some time alone." Elliott said gritting out the word mom.
"Okay?" I asked in confusion.
"Snow." Mom said looking at me with eyes filled tears and regret.
"Ma what's wrong?" I asked as i wiped away a stray tear.
"Snow I have to tell you something." She said in a shaky voice.
"What is i....."
"Snow we've got to leave." Elliott said as he ran into the room and pulled me out.
"What's going on?" I asked as i tried to not stumble.
"We're being attacked." He briskly said and took me to our house.
"Baby you've got to stay here until I call you okay Maria will be inside the house with you and your mom will be outside guarding the door." He rushed and quickly pecked my lips before turning around and running back to the pack house.
