When I woke up the next morning, I felt like shit. I remembered everything all too well. No one came and talked to me when I got done showering, which I was proud. Light was shining brightly through the curtains and I had to squint at it. I must've woken up at the right time, because there was a soft knock on my door. "Come in." I managed to croak out, still half asleep. Simon walked in slowly, as if he was unsure to approach me. "How you feeling?" He asked, sitting on the side of my bed. "Tired as fuck." I said, rubbing my eyes. He smirked. "Hungover?" He asked. "A little." I said, finally sitting up. "Well we have a surprise for you." He said with a chuckle. "Surprise? For what?" I asked, looking at him confused. "Just a little something to cheer you up." He said with a shrug. "I'm fine. You know that right?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder. "My shirt that you ruined last night with your makeup disagrees." He said with an eye roll. I giggled. "Sorry about that." I said. He shook his head. "No worries. Just get dressed and come downstairs when you're ready." He said, standing up. I nodded and pushed the warm blankets off of me. I yawned as I stretched. I got changed quickly, eager for my 'surprise.' I put on a pair of white skinny jeans and a burgundy 'Sidemen' sweatshirt. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I brushed my hair and put it in a messy bun, after debating on what to do with for almost ten minutes. I did a natural makeup look, just some foundation, mascara, and eyeliner. I slid my phone in my back pocket and jogged down the stairs. I looked in the kitchen at first, and no one was in there. I went to the living room and found it weird how it was completely silent. They were in the living room, Simon, Vik, and JJ. "Hey guys." I said as I sat down. "Good morning." JJ said, almost robotic. "Hey." Vik said, a little more calm. I looked at Simon and shrugged. "We are going to have a 'you' day." Simon said, nodding in satisfaction. "What?" I asked. "We are going to do everything you want today. And pay for it." Vik explained. "Aren't you excited?!" JJ yelled, now himself again. "Extremely. But what are we going to do?" I asked, looking at them. "Whatever you want to!" Simon yelled. "But I don't know what I want to do!" I yelled. They sighed. "Oh my god!" JJ added. "Let's go see a movie?" Vik suggested. They looked at me and I nodded. I can agree that today is going to be pretty great.

We just got home and it's dark outside. We've been gone all day and it has been so much fun. I didn't think about the Cal thing once. We saw a movie, went to the soccer field, went shopping, went to Nandos, and just had a lot of fun. "I'll take this." Simon said, taking my bag from me. It just had clothes in it, but he insisted. We got out of the car and went into the house. I was so tired by now, I didn't notice the extra car in the driveway, and no one else did either. "Hello." I heard an all too familiar voice say as I opened the front door. My heart sank to the flor and my body started shaking. "D-dad? What are you doing here?" I asked, trying to stay close to the guys. The us looked just as scared as I did. "I've missed you, baby. Why don't you come on home?" He asked. "N-no. I thought you were in jail." I said, now panting. "Did you really think they could've kept me there forever?" He asked with a smirk. I put my hand tightly on my phone. "Leave. Now. Or I'll call the police." I said, gripping the phone for dear life. "Oh I'm catching a plane in an hour back home. I was just seeing if you wanted a ride home." He said, taking a step towards the door, towards us. "I'll just be going now. But don't forget about me. Promise?" He said, now inches away from me. I didn't smell alcohol, something new. There was a hand placed on his chest and he looked at who it belonged to. Simon. "Really think you can stop me? Lover boy." He said with a smirk. He grabbed his wrist and twisted it behind his back, forcing his chest and stomach against the door. "Dad. Stop."  I said, grabbing hi arm. He let go of Simon and turned to me sharply. He grabbed my shoulder forcefully, definitely leaving a bruise. "Promise." He repeated, bringing his hand back threateningly. "After what you've done to me...how could I forget?" I croaked out. He slapped me. Hard.  I turned my head as the side of my face stung. "Don't smart off to me. I'm leaving. But not forever." He said, letting go if me and pushing past the boys to the door. I didn't date breathe until the door slammed shut. Vik locked it before quickly coming to me. "Are you okay?" He asked. But I didn't answer. I couldn't. I was shaking. He was back. And he wasn't leaving anytime soon. "It's okay. He's gone now." Simon whispered as he wrapped his arms around me. I pushed him away from me. Tears were now streaming down my face. "No. You don't understand. He'll never stop. He's not going to. Now I've put you guys in danger as well." I said loudly, looking at all of them through blurred vision. "He can't hurt you. And he can't hurt us." JJ said, putting an arm around me.  I collapsed under him. Now I was sitting on the floor, balling my eyes out while the guys tried to comfort me. Nothing could comfort me in this situation. Well, one thing could. Seeing him dead.
