We just arrived in the hotel and Josh was checking us in. "Okay. Couples each get their own room then everyone else can work theirs out." Josh said, holding up room keys. Simon took our room key and we went to the elevator, leaving everyone else to work their rooms out. "I don't like elevators. Did you know that?" I said as the doors closed. "I do now. Why don't you like them?" He asked, looking down at me. I shrugged. "They make me feel sick." I said, watching the numbers go up. "Me too, when I'm drunk." He said, chuckling. I rolled my eyes and the doors opened. He led the way until we reached our door. He unlocked it and we went in. One bed. Great. I put my stuff down and plopped on the bed. "I call right side." Simon said, laying down next to me. That was the side closest to the bathroom. "I get the view." I said, smirking. I looked out at the view. It was pretty amazing. There was a knock at the door. "Not it." Simon said quickly. I sighed as I got up and walked slowly towards the door. As I opened it, a guy that looked very familiar was standing there, but I couldn't put a name to his face. "Hey! Mackenzie right?" He said. I smiled. "That's me." I said. "I'm Preston. I'm part of the Pack with Vik. I'm here to speak to Simon." He said. I opened the door so he could walk in. Preston ran in and jumped on the bed that Simon was still laying on. "Preston!" Simon yelled excitedly. I was about to close the door when I heard someone else's voice. "Mackenzie! Wait!" They yelled. I looked back into the hall and saw a guy about as tall as Simon with blonde hair and blue eyes. "I'm Lachlan." He said. I nodded in response, letting him in. Then I noticed his Australian accent. "There's little Lachy!" Preston yelled, hugging Lachlan. Simon stood up out of bed. "So you guys are a thing now?" Lachlan asked. Simon nodded, putting his arm over my shoulders. "Aren't you from Texas?" Preston asked. I nodded. "It's nice to finally have someone to hang out with and talk to that's one of my own people." He said, acting like he was wiping sweat from his forehead. I smiled. He did have a slight southern accent. "Anyways, we came here because we are all going to go out for dinner if you'd like to join us." Lachlan said, walking towards the door. "We'll be down in five." Simon said. They both nodded and left. "How many more people do I have to meet?" I asked once the door closed. Simon grabbed his phone and handed me mine. "Three." He said. "They all know who I am already?" I asked, grabbing a room key. "Pretty much." He said, sighing. I opened the door and we walked towards the elevator slowly. It felt weird being alone in the hallway of such a big hotel. "We should go watch a movie after dinner." He said once we were in the elevator. "A movie?" I asked. He nodded. "Like a date." He said, taking my hand. A date. My heart skipped beats just thinking about it. "Sounds great. But I'm not dressed." I said, looking at my flying, relaxed outfit. "You're still beautiful." He said, giving my hand a small squeeze and looking down at me. I rested my head on his arm. "I love you." I said, sighing. "Love you too." He said. The elevator door opened and we slowly walked pearls where everyone else was. We were both really tired, I doubt we could make it through a movie. "Ready?" Simon asked once we got there. "There is the famous Mackenzie!" A guy yelled, jumping out of his seat. "Told you that you were famous!" Tobi yelled, pointing at me. I smiled as the guy walked over to me. "I'm Mitch. The best member of the Pack." He said, sticking out his hand for me to shake. I shook it. "Not likely." A guy said behind him. "I'm Jerome." The other guy said. I shook his hand. "Nice to meet you guys." I said, smiling. "I feel left out!" Another guy yelled from behind Jerome. "Get in here." Mitch said, pushing him forward. "The name's Rob." He said, sticking his hand out. I giggled at his introduction as I shook his hand. "It's about time!" JJ yelled. Josh and Freya jogged from the elevators. "Let's go!" Ethan yelled, standing up. We all walked out, Simon and I trailing behind slightly. It was really fucking cold, but I tried not to make it a big deal. "Do you miss living in Texas?" Someone asked me. I looked up to see Preston walking backwards, watching me. I shrugged. "Sometimes." I added, looking back at the ground. "I want to go home. It's too cold here." He said, hugging himself. "That I can agree on." I said, letting my body shake a little. There was snow beside me. Snow. It never snowed where I lived in Texas. I did catch myself staring at it as we walked, getting lost in its glistening look. "Are you okay?" Simon whispered to me, bending down slightly. "Yeah. It's just cold as fuck." I said. He chuckled and wrapped his arm round me. "This is the first time I've ever seen snow." I admitted, looking back down at it. "Really?" He asked. I nodded and he chuckled. "That's insane. No snow?" He said, still not believing me. "Remember when we went to Texas? Remember how hot it was?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow. He looked up at the sky, like he was trying to remember. "It was pretty hot." He said, nodding. "Yeah. Last year, on Christmas Day, it was 70 degrees (Fahrenheit)." I said, shaking my head. (I'm writing this three days before Christmas and the high today was 75) "I think you're lying." He said, smirking. "I wish I was." I said, looking at the group in front of us. I thought about them. They looked like they're having fun together, running around and pushing each other. I smiled and looked up at Simon. He was staring at the ground, deep in thought. "What's up?" I asked him, elbowing him in the side. He looked at me quickly. "Nothing. Just really tired." He said, yawning. "Maybe seeing a movie after we eat isn't a very good idea." He added. I nodded, yawning too. He chuckled.

We all ate quickly, ready to get to sleep. Simon and I just got back to our hotel room. I took my jacket off and threw it on the chair in the corner before walking straight to the bed. "I'm going to change." I heard Simon say before I heard the bathroom door open and close. I sighed and opened my eyes, trying to stay awake. I heard the bathroom door open again. I trend my head to see a shirtless Simon. Damn boy. I sat up slowly. I walked to my bag and opened it slowly. I got out some pajama pants and a tank top. I went to the bathroom and changed. I brushed my teeth quickly before going back to bed. "Finally." I said, plopping down beside Simon. I plugged my phone up and turned towards the large window. I looked at the dark sky and the city lights. One thing I noticed was that there wasn't many stars visible. There wasn't many in London either. In Texas, where I lived, millions of stars were visible and the night sky was something I lived for. I felt Simon's arms wrap around my waist. "Good night." I whispered. "Night." He said. I think he was already half asleep. I sighed and closed my eyes, falling asleep to the faint snores of Simon next to me.
