*Simon's POV*
I woke up the next morning with my head throbbing, and an empty bed beside me. Wait...empty? I opened my eyes slowly and saw Vik sitting on the chair in the corner, but no sign of Mackenzie. He was one his phone, so he didn't realize I was awake until I said something. "Where's Mackenzie?" I croaked out. He looked up immediately. "She's in my room. I don't know what happened, but I think you fucked up." He said, shrugging. "Did you sleep in here?" I asked him, sitting up a little. "Yeah. Right here in this chair. I came back early from the club and then Josh called me and asked me if I've seen you. Half an hour later, Mackenzie is knocking on our door, crying." He said, shrugging. I sat up straight. "Why was she crying?" I asked, my full attention on him. "I have no idea. But she said that she found you. Whatever that means." He said, deep in thought. I tried my best to remember last night. I remember the guys telling me it was time to go, then going outside....with a girl. Then I kissed her. Then Mackenzie was there. Oh damn. I fucked up big time. I shot out of bed. "Do you have a room key to your room?" I asked, walking quickly towards the door. "No. Don't you want to put a shirt on?" He asked. But I didn't have time to answer him. I was out the door in seconds. There was a few people in the hall, all wondering why I was shirtless and sprinting down the hall. I reached the stairs, instead of the elevator, and ran down three flights of stairs. When I reached Vik and Elissa's door, I paused. What if she didn't want to talk to me? What if she didn't want my apology? What if she already made up her mind of completely pushing me out of her life? I couldn't live knowing that I broke her heart, so I had to try. I knocked on the door gently. Elissa opened it. Her eyes narrowed when she saw me. "Can I please speak to Mackenzie?" I asked. She looked back into the room, where I couldn't see, then back at me. "She's asleep." She said. "Look, I'm really sorry about what I did. I was drunk and had no idea what the hell my mind was doing. I-I can't believe I did that. I-I'm so sorry." I said, more to myself then to Elissa. I looked down as my voice broke. I knew my eyes were watery. I've never cried over a girl before. I sniffled and Elissa sighed. "Come in." She said, opening the door a little wider. My head perked up, but the tears didn't disappear. We walked in quietly and Mackenzie was indeed asleep on the bed. Seeing her wrapped up tightly in that blanket made my heart shatter, knowing that I should be right there beside her. Elissa walked slowly towards her, motioning me to stay. "Mackenzie," she said, gently shaking her. "You have a visitor." She said. I watched as Mackenzie's eyes fluttered open, but she didn't yet see me. Elissa nodded towards me and my stomach twisted. I gulped as she looked at me with tired eyes. "Mackenzie...." I managed to get out past the lump in my throat. She sat up slightly. "What?" She asked, obviously upset. Angry, maybe. Sad. I don't know. It wasn't her though. I gulped again. "Can we talk?" I asked, my voice shaky. "I'll leave you two to it." Elissa said, walking towards the door. She stopped when she was right beside me and looked up at me. "I have no problem with hurting you." She said quietly, to where only we could hear it, then she walked away. As the door shut, Mackenzie looked back at me. "Let's hear it." She said, shrugging. I remained standing in my spot. "I-I'm so sorry about last night. I was r-really drunk and I didn't know what I was doing. I-I'm so sorry. I can't live with myself knowing that I hurt you...I just can't do it. C-can you forgive me?" I asked her, not removing our eye contact, despite my blurred vision. I saw her eyes water a little, but she stayed quiet. "Do you even know who that girl was?" She finally spoke up. Her voice was stronger, and way more confident then mine at the moment. "N-no." I said, shaking my head. As I spoke more, the more broken my voice became. If any of the guys saw me like this, I would never live it down. She looked at the floor. "Do you know how much I love you?" I asked her. She looked up slightly, then back down again. "I love you so damn much. I-I've never cried over a girl before you. I've never felt so hurt and scared just thinking that we might not be together again. I-I love you so much. I want you to know that. And I promise you it will never happen again no matter how drunk I get, I'll make out with one of the guys before I cheat on you again." I said, slowly inching towards her. She looked up and she was smiling. "I love you too." She said. I didn't know what to do. I was too happy and excited. I just smiled, and my vision was focused again. She uncovered herself and stood up out of bed. I didn't move. I couldn't. She walked to the end of the bed, a few feet away from me. She spread her arms out and nodded. I ran towards her, wrapping my arms right around her. Making sure she knew I meant every word I said. "I love you." I whispered, pulling away slightly. "I love you too." She said, smiling. I kissed her. It wasn't like any of our other kisses. It felt different. Better. Perfect. It meant almost as much to me as our first kiss did. As our lips moved together, I felt happy. At home. Like I belonged somewhere, with her. She smiled, breaking the kiss. "Calm down there." She said, smirking. I kissed her forehead. "I forgot something." I whispered. She giggled. "What?" She asked. "Good morning beautiful."
