The boy was shocked he has trouble remembering what he even said he just rembers being so happy that she said yes that nothing chould bring him down but he thinks it went something like this. "Really?" Txted the boy in disbelief she said yes. She responded "yes really" he felt happy truly happy he felt kind of numb she was the first girl to say yes that didn't just turn around and say just kidding did you really think id go out with someone as pathetic as you. He was happy he asked if he could call her she said yes and he got her phone number he called her and got a shy hello when she picked up they talked for hours he asked her if she knew he liked her she said she had a feeling but wasent sure. He confessed he was going to ask her out at lunch and when he paused he meant to say it but chouldent. "How whould you react if i asked you then"? She said "i whould have ran up to the school". He felt mixed emotions about what she said why would she have ran away out of embarrassment? But instead he pushed the thought out of his head. By now he was wearing his rose colored glasses and even though he didn't know it yet he was a hopeless romantic bleaveing in happily ever afters and such she chould do no wrong. He wondered why would someone as perfect as her say yes to a low life like him later he found out he just asked at the right time but that is much later in the story. They kept on talking until the girl got tired and went to bed. The boys mind was still racing he felt amazing it was late about 11 o'clock but he felt like he just woke up he didn't sleep that night in the morning his dad started yelling at him because he stayed up all night. the boy didn't care he txted the girl at about 10 to see if she was awake he hadn't stopped thinking about her. She answered soon after he txted.
