Quick Disclaimer: I wrote most of this book before coming out as non-binary! I may use my birthname and female pronouns, but those do not currently honor me. Hi! My name is Lane, and I use they/them pronouns. Hope you enjoy!
This one is often described as the opposite of demisexuality and romanticism. When you see the prefix "fray" in front of someone's orientation, it means that they can feel attraction when they first meet someone, but it fades over time.
This doesn't mean they don't like the person. You could be the nicest, most beautiful person ever, but a fray person will not feel attracted to you if you know each other well.
See what I mean when it's the opposite of demi? If a fray person is attracted to someone, it goes down like this:
1. Fray meets person
2. Fray feels attracted to person
3. Fray gets to know person
4. Fray is no longer attracted to personAnd if a demi person is attracted to a person, it goes like this:
1. Demi meets person
2. Demi does not feel attracted to person
3. Demi gets to know person
4. Demi is attracted to personIt's the same steps, just in a different order! *minds explode*
As always, leave any questions in the comments! Love you guys <3
