Chapter 11
(Christy's POV)
I sat there looking at Adam with anticipation. It seemed like a whole 10 minutes just waiting for him to respond.
I needed to stay anywhere but my house. Ryan knows where I live, so anything can happen at any given time.
I can't stay at my parent's house, because all they'll do is attack me with questions.
I don't want to trouble Natalie because she had done too much for me.
"Yeah, of course, it's fine with me." He said with confidence. "Just promise me one thing, okay?"
"What is it?" I questioned.
"Promise me that you won't regret this later. And you can stay as long as you need to." He reassured me.
"I promise." I said with a small smile.
There wasn't anything planned for today.
I started to pack some of my stuff in a suitcase. I wasn't exactly sure how long I should stay at Adam's house, so I packed enough clothes for 2 weeks.
When we got to his house, he led me to the room that I would be staying in.
"Here's your room, unless you want to sleep with me." He said with a smirk.
"No, I don't think that's necessary right now." I replied with a slight laugh.
I opened the door to the guest room and the room was about the size of my small apartment.
I had expected this. A multi- millionaire singer, why wouldn't he have a ginormous house.
"I'll see you later." Adam said as he decided to walk away.
My phone rang and vibrated. I had received a text message. Just then, Adam stopped walking.
"Is it that son of a bitch?" Adam asked without turning around.
I pulled out my phone from my bag. It was from Ryan.
I read it and it said," Hey, I'm sorry about what happened. Can I come over?"
Adam also read it and I can immediately see the anger building in his eyes.
"Who does he think he is? Does he think he can just get away with what he did?" Adam pointed out to me.
"What should I do? There's nothing I can do to stop him." I asked. I felt lost. I didn't know how to stop him from reaching and contacting me.
"I'll go to his house and I'll show him what he deserves." Adam replied aggressively as he started to get out of his house.
"No Adam, if you do that, your reputation would be ruined!" I said holding him back.
"I don't care. I just want that bastard gone and away from you." He told me as he looked into my eyes.
"Please don't, we'll think of a better way to resolve this." I said pleadingly. "Please Adam."
After awhile, Adam hesitantly replied, "Fine. But you need to be very careful about where you go. I can't stand the thought of losing you and getting you hurt."
