HEX (The Flash FanFic)

CH: 3 ~~BARRY~~

My mind was still on the new CSI scientist, there was something off in the air as I entered S.T.A.R. Labs seeing Cisco fiddling around with my suit like he usually did. Cisco built my suit so when he fiddled with the suit which meant he was making adjustments or additions to it.

"What's the 911?" I asked moving towards Cisco seeing what he was doing and I saw that he was adjusting the earpiece portion of the uniform and the look of pure fear was in his eyes.

"Grodd is the 911...he's been sighted in the city. I managed to create a device that connects to your earpiece to block Grodd's telepathic attacks." Cisco answered making the final adjustments when the alarm began to blare and when I checked the monitor I saw Grodd near a power plant. Cisco was fumbling quicker until he moved away from my suit for me to take. I grabbed it and quickly sped change into seeing Cisco trying to get a lock on where Grodd was heading. "He's heading to Mercury Labs...Barry be careful." I nodded and sped out of S.T.A.R. Labs without another word to Cisco or another word from him. Avoiding the traffic in the city I made it to Mercury Labs seeing a huge shadow moving towards me. The shadow came into the light and I saw Grodd lock eyes with me, his eyes were burning mine with his anger.

"Flash hurt Grodd...Grodd hurt Flash." he telepathically spoke roaring and charging at me swinging his heavy hands in my direction. I sped away from his hands as they slam down onto the floor and ended up behind him.

"Ughhh...? Cisco what's the plan?" I asked avoiding another strike; I could hear Cisco mumbling to himself trying to figure out what to do. In the meantime I was avoiding strikes from Grodd but I knew I couldn't do this forever. The next thing I knew Grodd slammed his arm down in my path knocking me backwards into the nearby wall from the vibrations that radiated off his arm. Grodd moved forward about to slam his arm onto my chest, I closed my eyes to brace myself for impact but it never came. I opened my eyes seeing the girl from before with both of their arms above her head and saw Grodd's arm hovering in the air with blue energy stopping him.

"Get up Flash and move..." she yelled I scrambled up to my feet behind her, I noticed I was taller than her and I watched Grodd was getting angrier. "On the count of three I'm going to release him and you're going to speed us away from this strike."

"Okay..." I choked trying to figure out what the hell was going on but I knew I had no time to think except to watch the girl verse Grodd. Grodd was trying to break the energy that was stopping him, I moved closer to the girl seeing her dark hair flap in the wind. I watched her hands began closing into two tight fists as Grodd was growling loudly slamming hard on the shield like energy stopping him.

"One.........Two........" she started I prepared to grab her as she pushed the energy higher causing Grodd to stumble a bit backwards. "THREE!!!" I grabbed her by her waist in mid run watching Grodd's final swing down breaking the energy and stumbled forward.

"What now...?" I yelled stopping us both behind Grodd; I watched the girl step forward and watch Grodd turn growling at us both.

"Witch stop Grodd....Grodd hurt Witch..." Grodd growled sending telepathic waves at us and it didn't affect either one of us which made struck me as odd. I knew because Cisco's earpiece was protecting me but what was protecting her? Grodd noticed that whatever he tried didn't seem to work on either one of us and this angered him a lot more. He grabbed what looked like a flammable like substance into his hands; he looked like he was planning on throwing it at us.

"Dnuorg Sespalloc Woleb Ddorg...." she replied throwing her hand out towards Grodd I watched the ground shake around him forcing Grodd start to lose his balance with the flammable substance slipping from his grip. Then the ground split open forcing Grodd to fall into the hole that opened around and a small explosion followed it. A few moments Grodd didn't emerge from the hole which meant he either was unconscious from the fall or dead from the explosion. "Laes Dnuorg..." the girl's voice interrupting the silence moving up towards me, I watched the hole vanish now and be replaced with the missing pieces of the ground. I was a loss for words from what I saw; I looked at the girl when she turned to face me, her eyes locked into mine and the sense of familiarity hit me.

"What the hell was that?" I asked she moved to the side of me looking for something not looking at me, my eyes scanned her costume now seeing her up close now. Her hair matched the night sky, black, it sat her shoulders with streaks of bluish purple at the tips, she had dark makeup covering her eyes and her eye color was purplish. This made it nearly impossible to identify who she was but the costume I saw made it harder not to stare. She wore a leather jacket that was long that sit to the back of her thighs. Her chest was in full view with a strapless white top that showed her lower abs and toned stomach. My eyes continued to scan seeing leather leggings like pants and knee high boots. Her black fingerless gloves traced across the ground and then stood up looking at me.

"Don't worry Grodd is still alive, that substance wasn't strong enough to kill him but whatever he was after was similar to what he was exposed to a year ago." she exclaimed making me tilt my head, I noticed two tanks sitting off to the sides and I bent down to see what the labels said.

"Neuro-enhancing chemicals? What would Grodd want with these?" I wondered trying to process anything that would tell me what Grodd wanted or what he was planning.

"I will leave that up to you to figure out Flash..." she replied I turned to see her lightly press her lips onto mine catching me off guard, her lips were sweet and soft to the touch. I saw that there was some fog surrounding us, she removed her lips from mine and back into it. I turned to see her vanish deep into the fog as it slowly faded; my brain was now very confused about who this girl was. I touched my lips with my gloved hand still feeling her lips on mine forcing me to smile a small bit. I shook my head to clear my mind taking both tanks into my arms then sped back to S.T.A.R. Labs hoping either Cisco or Caitlin could help me with this. My thoughts were not of Grodd but of the girl who kept appearing and saving my life twice in one night. I had a lot of unanswered questions but there were only three that laid in my mind. Is she a metahuman? What is she after? Why did she help me?
