HEX (The Flash FanFic)

CH: 22 ~~ZOE~~

I opened my eyes seeing my grandfather standing in front of me, his body began falling to the floor and I saw the glass shard Parasite threw at me inside his chest. I caught him letting myself drop to my knees cradling my grandfather in my grip, I looked up at Parasite who looked like he was laughing at me. I threw my hand up at him which telekinetically pinned him to the wall behind him, I kept my half of focus on the wall to keep Parasite there and the other half on my grandfather. 

"It's going to be okay papi...I'll heal you..." I whispered feeling my eyes filling with tears when I saw Barry move up next to me after regaining his footing. My grandfather touched my hand with his pushing it away from his wound and tightened his grip on my hand.

"I'm dying either way my dear...the spell connects my life force to you and the spell will only complete with my death." he replied softly his other hand stroke my hair putting it behind my ear and then he wiped the fallen tear from my cheek.

"Please...please don't leave me." I gasped he gave me a weak smile when Barry knelt down next to us touching my arm with his hand. 

"I'll always be with you...I am so proud of you sweetheart, your mother would be so proud of you too." he smiled I cried chuckled at him watching his eyes turn over to Barry who was next to me, I looked over my shoulder with my eyes to see Barry looking at him. "Take care of her for me..."

"I promise..." Barry whispered for only the both of us could hear him, he turned his gaze back to me and I watched the light in his eyes began to fade. His grip on my hand loosen until I felt his grip become nonexistent on mine. His breaths stopped shortly after then his body drained of color until it vanished into ash flowing into me and through the air. I felt my strength, my powers and everything return inside me when I looked straight at Parasite seeing his snickering smile. I moved leaving Barry behind me as I stood in the middle of the floor as the spell released Parasite so he could stand before me. 

"Ooo...what are you going to do little witch?" Parasite snickered my fingers twitched feeling the power building up inside me, I felt both of my hands tighten into my fists until the power had reached the peak. I screamed flicking both of my hands open feeling power explode out of me causing the windows above shatter around us, the lightbulbs blew with sparks and the entire room began to shake uncontrollably. The bits of shattered glass began encircle me while both Barry and Parasite used their hands to shield themselves from everything. Parasite looked up at me while the glass surrounded me, I released it from where it was letting it head into his direction hoping even though he would try to dodge them a few would hit him. I remember the spell that was given to me as I took a few steps forward watching Parasite turn around with some glass sticking out of his body. I threw my hand up stopping him as he moved forward, he began to laugh again remembering I did this before. "You think I can't break through your immobilization spell?" I smirked turning my hand a bit feeling my eyes burn the bluish purple color and the look on Parasite's face changed.

"KAERB..." I yelled slightly closing my hand seeing a wave of pain pushed into Parasite with a loud snap coming from his one leg causing him to drop to the floor. He looked up at me trying to get up when I squeezed my hand again sending another wave of pain at him. Then his other leg snapped under him he winced in pain now he yelled in pain. "That was for my parents..."

"Is that all you got witch..." he laughed I could feel the power surging through me, he wanted more then he was going to get it. I smirked squeezing my hand a little more letting his one arm snap, he grabbed it with his other arm trying brace it as he looked up at me.

"This is for my grandfather you bastard..." I hissed squeezing my hand again and the other arm now snapped dropping to the side making it now both of his legs and arms were useless. I extended my fingers slowly squeezing it watching him cough and suffer. "What's wrong? Have nothing else to say? That is probably because your heart is being squeezed now and once I close my hand completely your heart will explode." He began to wheeze when I felt Barry's arm lash onto my shoulder trying to break my focus but it wasn't working for him.

"Zoe stop...your killing him..." he yelled I snapped my eyes to him seeing a worried look in his eyes but I couldn't stop now not after everything Parasite has done to me. 

"Exactly..." I hissed turning my gaze back to Parasite when Barry stood in my way breaking the focus on Parasite who was gasping with slight relief. I felt anger fuming because now Barry was in the way of my thirst for vengeance "Get out of the way Allen."

"Zoe you're angry I know how you feel but killing Parasite won't bring them back trust me." he answered the look in his eyes was of sincere and soft, he was nothing like Oliver who would literally hit me to make his point. "When my mother was killed I wanted to save her when I got my powers but I knew that I couldn't because I am not a killer and I know neither are you. Please don't do this, we can lock him away and he'll never harm anyone else." I lowered my head knowing he was right so I put my arm down watching Barry feel relief as his shoulders dropped with his sigh. I dropped to my knees feeling everything inside shatter when I heard Parasite laugh and gasp in pain.

"You're weak...you had your chance to destroy me and you failed. I will destroy you when I am healed because you are pathetic like your mother was." Parasite laughed I looked up feeling my anger starting to pulse through me almost like it was radiating off my body into the room. Before I could speak the room began to shake again, bits of debris was falling from the sky crashing around us and when Barry looked at me I shook my head telling him I wasn't doing this.

"The entire place is coming down Bar...get out of here! Save yourself..." I replied feeling too weak to move from where I was, Barry looked around at me then at Parasite when more debris fell. 

"Just because she won't kill you doesn't mean I have to save you...goodbye Parasite." Barry exclaimed turning to me scooping me into his grip taking off running out of the Lair. I could see over Barry's shoulder a huge part of debris landing on Parasite and his screams were the last thing I heard as Barry got us out of there and I felt my entire body collapse unconscious from all the power I used.
