PJ, Joel & I were hanging out in the backyard, playing my new game when I glanced up & saw Karleigh looking around confused, like she lost something. When she was close enough, I put my game down, "Karl? What's wrong?" I stood up, PJ & Joel on either side of me.

"Mercy was going to go change then she was supposed to come right back but I don't see her." Karleigh answered, looking around the yard.

"Maybe she's still upstairs." I offered, shrugging my shoulders.

"Maybe."

"I'm going to put my game in my room, anyway, so we'll see if she's up there." I said, smiling at her.

"Okay. I'm going to go hang out by the pool so tell her to come find me if you find her."

I nodded, then started walking. Joel sighed as he walked behind me. "I didn't get a turn at the game." He mumbled, under his breath.

"Sorry. You can play it later. I'm sure you'll be staying longer since your dad is doing the bonfire." I replied.

When we got to the stairs inside the house, we saw Reid coming down them, holding Jenn's hand. "Hey guys! Where are you three going & should I be worried?" Jenn asked, smirking at us.

"To my room & to see if we can find Mercy. Did you see her up there?" I asked.

Jenn scowled & shook her head as Reid nodded. "She was going to her room & then I saw that guy... I can't member his name. He looks like Uncle Wilmer. He went into her room after she did." Reid said.

"Diego?" I asked Reid, who nodded, a big grin on his face.

Jenn pulled Reid with her as I turned to PJ & Joel. "Why would Diego go into Mercy's room?"

"Is that the dude with the permanent scowl on his face?" PJ asked.

"Yea. He's in the TV show my mom is doing. He plays a younger version of Wilmer." I looked up the stairs as a bad feeling came over me. Ever since Mercy was in trouble at the pageant, I now know how to read the feelings I get. I had a weird feeling on that day Mercy & Mom were attacked, but I didn't know what it was. Now, I'm a little older & I will get a feeling when my sister is in some kind of trouble. No one but Mercy knows I get the feeling. It's a twin thing & people would probably laugh at us. "I think Mercy is in trouble." I said as I took a step.

"How do you know?" Joel asked.

"Twin thing." I smirked, pretending I was joking, but I wasn't. My cousins both rolled their eyes. "Come with me, guys & be quiet." I walked, slowly, up the stairs, PJ & Joel following. I went to Mercy's room & listened for a moment. I heard a muffled voice, so I knew Diego was in her room, since the voice was too deep to be Mercy's. I put my hand on the doorknob & tried to turn it but it didn't budge. It was locked & now I was even more concerned. I motioned with my head for the guys to follow me & when we got to just outside my room, I whispered, "Diego is in there with Mercy & he really shouldn't be. We're going to go through the bathroom that Mercy & I share." I went into my room, put my game on the bed, then walked to the bathroom. The door that led to Mercy's room was slid open a little & I heard Mercy's voice.

"You better let me up or I'm going to scream."

"No one will believe you. You're a child & they will just think you're trying to get attention." Diego said & I wondered what he was talking about. Just as I slid the door all the way open & saw Diego pinning my sister to the bed, Mercy got her right arm free & she punched him really hard in the face, sending him falling off the bed.
