"You're...pregnant..." Regina said after a while.

"Yeah" Emma said

"Who else knows?"

"Just you..."

"Why me? I think that you should've told your mother this first... or Killian for that matter!"

"I just left the house to get some fresh air, and I wound up here. I don't really know know why you. I guess it's because I trust you." Emma said slowly. "I'm afraid to tell Mary-Margaret and David, because I'm afraid they'll think I can't do this."

"How do you mean?"

"Regina, do you remember why Henry is both of ours?" Emma paused, "I gave him up because I was in jail, I didn't think I was ready to be a mother. The man I thought I loved had just left me, and I didn't believe in myself. And sometimes I try to think what my life would be like if I hadn't given him up."

"I gave you that opportunity, when the second curse took all of us back to The Enchanted Forest. I gave you two a life together, a life in which you never gave him up! Do you know how hard that was for me?! I remembered every detail about him and you, and he didn't even know who I was..."

"Yes, but those weren't real memories. They were fake, you put them in our minds. We were happy. I was dating a really nice guy, who proposed to me! Sometimes I wish I never brought him back. But then I remember my family, friends, Killian, everyone here, and then I don't regret it anymore."

There was a long, awkward silence that filled the room. Emma listened to the cooing of the baby, and the hum of the heater. She listened to Roland running around overhead, and heard Robin preparing dinner in the kitchen.

"Well, how far along are you?" Regina asked, trying very hard not to show that she was upset.

"I don't know... a couple weeks maybe..."

"Maybe?!"

"Yeah-"

"Emma, first thing tomorrow, I'm taking you to the OB/GYN, to get you checked out."

"Thanks Regina, I really appreciate it. But is this really necessary?"

"Yes it is, I won't tell anyone if you don't want, but you need to go."

"Alright. Killian was making dinner when I left, and I should probably get back to them... Bye Regina, and again, Thank you."

With that Emma left the Mayor's large house, to try to get through what seemed to be an impossible dinner with her first child, a resurrected pirate lover, and now her unborn child.
