Emma awoke with a dull pain in her left arm. She glanced over to see an IV sticking out of her arm, and realized she was in the hospital. She moved her head slightly, and Killian jumped to her side, and called for a nurse.

"Emma! Oh my god, you're okay, I was so worried."

The nurse came in and smiled, and grabbed her chart, which was hanging from the end of the bed. "Glad to see you're awake Mrs. Jones."

"Oh, we aren't married," Killian told the nurse, "she's Miss Swan."

"My apologies. I'm Addison, I'll be your nurse during your stay. I've already paged Doctor Whale, he'll be here momentarily."
She looked over at the monitor, "Your vitals look good, I don't expect you'll be here long." Addison smiled, put the chart back and left the room.

Killian and Emma sat in silence for a bit, before Doctor Whale came in, looking down at his clipboard.
"Hello, I'm Doctor Whale, it's nice to meet you," He looked up suddenly, "Miss Swan?"

"Hi..." She said, sheepishly. She turned to Killian, "Killy, can you go find Henry?"

"Yes, of course love." He got up, kissed her forehead, and left the room.

Whale began to speak before Emma interrupted him.

"I don't know how long we have, but I'm pregnant, and I don't want Killian to know just yet. Please, just don't tell him." She blurted out.

"Emma, it's not my place to tell, but you will have to tell him at some point. When, well that's up to you-"

"Mom!" Henry said as he walked in, followed by Killian, he still had Neal. "I'm so glad you're alright." He sat down next to Killian on the couch in the room.

Whale began to explain her condition. "Emma, has a condition in which, when she is extremely stressed she, simply put, blacks out. It's called a burn-out. It's very common, and it's nothing to be too concerned about. We would like to keep her overnight, just for observation." Whale's pager beeped. "I would love to stay and chat, but I have other patients that I need to attend to." He smiled, shook Killian's hand, and left the room.
