Emma waved goodbye to Addison as she left the building. Once outside, she saw the distinguishable yellow bug right away. Killian got out of the car, put her things in the trunk and helped her into the car.

Once he was in the car himself, he turned to Emma.

"Shall we head home swan?"

"Um, no."

He raised his eyebrow. "What?"

"No. I want ice cream." Emma said stubbornly.

Killian laughed and started the car. He seemed different now. Maybe Emma ending up in the hospital changed the way he thought. It was unlikely, but still a possibility.

As they pulled up to the ice cream parlor, Emma jumped a little.

"Emma? Are you alright?"

Killian's hand instinctively flew to her arm.

"Yes, I'm fine-"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I just want ice cream."

Killian, still unsure of Emma's well being, unbuckled his seatbelt and got out.

While he was walking around to her door, Emma let the breath she'd been holding in, out. She was pretty sure that was the babies moving around.

Killian opened her door, and helped her out of the car. As they walked towards the door, Emma grabbed his hand.

She stopped walking. "Hey, I love you."

Killian grinned. "I know, and I love you too."

He pecked her on the lips. "I thought you wanted ice cream."

"I do." Emma laughed.

They walked inside. Ingrid, who was given a second chance, was working. "Hey Emma, Killian, what can I get you guys today?"

Killian turned to Emma. "What do you want love?"

Skimming over the list of flavors, Emma decided very quickly. "I want Chocolate with gummy bears and skittles."

Killian looked a little bewildered. "Are you alright? That's an awful lot of sugar."

Emma just stared at him. "I'm fine." She said slowly, "just hungry."

Killian turned back towards Ingrid, "We'll take that and I'll have a vanilla cone."

Emma laughed. "You are so plain."

Killian smiled. "Yes I know, but you aren't. See we're a perfect match."

It drove Emma crazy when he said stuff like that. How could he be so sure? She put it out of her mind as Ingrid handed her the ice cream.

Killian paid and they left the store.
