On her way back to the house, Emma ran in to Mary-Margaret and David, out on a walk with Neal. Neal was almost two years old now, and tottering around on his own.

"Emma!" He yelled, quite excitedly.

"Neal! How are you doing little brother?" She asked him, smiling at her parents, and picking him up and spinning him around.

"Am sooo good!" He replied. He was talking, but not that well.

"Hi mom, dad." Emma said, acknowledging her parents.

"Hey kiddo, how are you?" David asked.

"I'm-" Emma paused. She didn't know how she was, and she definitely didn't want to tell them about the baby. "I'm... good." She said finally.

"Emma? Where is Heny?" Neal interrupted.

Emma laughed, she had noticed that he struggled with his r's.

"He's at home little guy. Why?" She asked him.

"Can I come ova?" He said, thinking about each word very carefully.

"I dunno little guy, you have to ask mommy and daddy." She told him.

He whipped his head around, "Mommy!"

"You can go to Emma's for a little. Daddy and I will come over to get you," Mary-Margaret turned to Emma, "about eight?"

"Sounds good to me." Emma told her parents, before a quick hug goodbye, and they went on their separate ways.

"We'll give mommy and daddy some alone time, okay?" Emma told her little brother as she set him down so he could walk next to her.
