Addison came in on rounds at about 6 am.
"Miss Swan, I'm terribly sorry, but I have to run some tests." Addison said, lightly shaking Emma's shoulder.
Emma tried to roll back over, but knew that she had let Addison do her thing. She slowly sat up, and Addison ran some quick tests to check her vitals.
"You look great Emma, I expect you'll be able to go home today."
Emma smiled weakly, and thanked her for her help. Addison left the room, and Emma went back to sleep, watching Killian sleep. When she woke again, it was 9 and Killian was gone. Emma sat up, and found a note on the table. She reached over, and grabbed pink post-it with Killian's neat, loopy handwriting on it.
Swan, I went back the house to clean up,
and get you somethings. I should be back around 11.
I love you,
KillianEmma smiled, and grabbed her phone and called Regina. It went straight to voicemail.
"Regina, It's Emma, I'm at the hospital still, and Killian has left, so I'm going to go get a check up... for the baby. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know. I'll talk to you later, bye."
Emma hung the phone up, and called her mom, who answered awfully quick.
"Storybrooke Elementary, this is Mrs. Blanchard."
"Mom, it's me, um, are you busy?"
"No, the kids just went out for recess. Why?"
"I need you here. I'm about to do something, and I just don't want to do it alone."
"I suppose I can have Sharon watch the kids... I'll be there as soon as possible. Love you, bye!"
Emma hung up the phone. She pressed the call button on her bed, and Addison came in.
"Do you need something?"
"Yeah, can you page Dr. Whale?" Emma asked.
"Sure." She walked out of the room, then came back in a moment later. "He should be here soon." Addison left again.
Dr. Whale came in shortly after.
"You paged?"
"Yeah, you see here's the thing, I need to speak to an OB/GYN, I think... you know, about the baby thing."
"Yeah, of course. I'd figured you'd want Killian there though."
"I still haven't told him. However, my mother is coming."
"Okay, I'll go see if we can get you in." Whale left the room.
Emma wanted to scream. She had no clue what to do. With Henry, the prison arranged every thing, all she had to do was show up. She couldn't wait until her mom got here. She laid her head back, and thought about Henry. He grew up into such a nice young man. Certainly, if the former evil queen could raise children, so could the savior...
