Zach Fucale

"Are you sure that you can't come to graduation?" You looked up at Zach, whose eyes were still fixed on the movie.

"I really am sorry, babe. My family is in town. I tried to get out of it. You know I'd be there." He leaned down to kiss your nose. "I love you babe. I'll make it up to you somehow."

"I love you too, Zachary."

He came to the party and spent as much time with you as he could before your graduation ceremony. He just wouldn't be with you the day that you wanted him to. You faked a smile and held his hand while talking to the old classmates and family you rarely see.

"I think I'm gonna go inside and cool off a bit. Want to come with me?" You raised a brow at your boyfriend, hoping he would get the hint.

"A good hostess doesn't leave her guests."

"Good thing my mom is technically the host." You pulled his face down to yours and pressed your lips to his, leading him into your bedroom for a quickie.

The day had come and you were sad that your boyfriend wasn't there. Because of his "job", he's missed a lot of events with you. You sister's wedding. You didn't get to see him for his birthday. You barely saw him on your birthday. Now, it was your graduation. 

"It's okay, honey. You know he'd be here if he could." Your dad kissed your forehead and you went to your seat before the ceremony.

Walking across the stage was surreal. You worked your ass off to get to this point. And now what? You applied for different colleges, but which one you went to depended on Zach.

After caps were tossed and you found yours, you went to find your family. Only to find a familiar brown haired boy standing with them.

"Zach you're here!" You jumped into his arms, elated that he was able to watch you walk across the stage.

"I wasn't going to miss it. Family will be here for a few days. This would only take a few hours." He kissed you, not caring that your family was watching.

"Thank you, it means the world to me. I'm so glad you came."
