You were laying on the couch, feeling vulnerable after Andre spent the night out with his teammates. He asked you to go out, but your period cramps wanted you to lay in bed for the weekend. You knew that girls would be all over your boyfriend, even though a majority of them knew that the two of you are living together.

He walked in the door, holding his jacket in his hand.

"You look like crap." You mumbled, taking a drink of your coffee. He just smiled and joined you on the couch. "And you reek of alcohol."

"I'm sorry, want to take a shower with me?"

"No, I think I'll pass."

"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked, his eyes filled with worry. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"We're living together and it scares me. At any moment you could leave and I would rather leave before I got hurt. I want to run." The tears started coming to the corners of your eyes and you stared at the floor.

During every road trip, you always thought about leaving before he got back. Taking your things and leaving nothing but a note. Then you wouldn't be the one getting hurt like you always were in the past.

But something kept you in DC. You would take out your bag and start packing, but would end up putting everything back before he got home.

"If I run, will you chase me? Do you think I'm worth it?" The tears spilled down your cheeks, sobs started to get stuck in your throat.

"I am not going anywhere. Other than maybe the arena and grocery store." He pushed some hair behind your ear, "I love you and want to be with you."
