"What do you mean, we're going on a cross country road trip?" You looked at your boyfriend, horrified. A road trip to Florida? Sure. A road trip to Maine? Definitely. California and Oregon? No. Not going to happen.
"Come on, we can go to Portland and Disneyland and see the ocean."
"We live in Jersey, for fucks sake Miles. Jersey."
"We can see the other ocean, babe. Come on. It'll be fun."
"We could go to Florida and drink around the world. Or, we could take a plane. You know they have those these days, right?" You asked sarcastically. He seemed really excited and that made you want to change your mind, but you weren't going to.
"Too late, I already planned this out and paid for everything."
You groaned, admitting defeat. "Fine, we'll go. But I get control of the music whenever I want."
"You'll be sleeping the entire time we're driving." He was right. As soon as the car started moving, you were usually passed out. "And probably snoring."
"I do not snore." You huffed, crossing your arms.
"How long have we lived together?"
"A year."
"Yeah, so I know if you snore or not."
"Whatever," you walked off.
"I love you!" Miles called out, making you roll your eyes.
