Your friends all asked if you would mind them going to his wedding. "No," you told them, "go have fun and take advantage of the open bar for me."
You sat on your couch, watching SVU with a large bottle of wine. Your first and only true love was getting married to someone that wasn't you.
They told you and you broke down inside. You couldn't let any emotions show, so you smiled. "I'm happy for him."
Flashbacks ran through your mind of his summers home in Arlington, visiting him for games. It was rough.
"I love you, Seth. Come back okay?"
"I love you too."
Not much longer after that, you got a call. He didn't want to be with you anymore. He didn't give a reason why, he just left.
You logged out of snapchat and facebook, knowing everyone was going to be posting pictures. You weren't about to subject yourself to that kind of torture.
"It's okay," You told your best friend through tears, "I got the boy, she got the man."
