Instead of going to Toronto with Mo, you decided to stay in your hometown and start your masters degree. It was hard, but you thought that you could make it work.
Middle school sweethearts, but you've had your breaks. You went to university and lived with him for undergrad but wanted to be closer to home for more than the summer. You knew this was the only time that you would be able to do it since an engagement would be coming soon.
You started talking about what the plan for next season was, but it was going to be hard for the both of you.
"Mo, I don't want to take a break. My program is just better here."
"Then we won't take a break. We'll stay together." He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. It was a single band with multiple diamonds, just like you wanted. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes, of course I will."
"Wedding after your masters?"
"Unless you want to plan the entire thing."
"We'll have it next summer." He told you. "I'll hire a wedding planner."
