I finished my cheeseburger soon after Thomas finished his. We were content with the small talk we made, therefore neither of us getting bored. Since it was gladly Friday Thomas invited me over, knowing his parents wouldn't care neither my dad - since he doesn't give a damn about me.

"Alright let's go," I say then Thomas quickly pays, but I give him a glare as if to say 'You didn't have to pay for me' but all he did was stare back at me.

Thomas leads me to his car and drives over to his house. The only sound was Panic! At The Disco playing softly on the radio. The silence between us wasn't uncomfortable, but it was probably all that could've happened. I began to tap my fingers and hum along to the angelic sound of Brendon Urie's God-Like voice.

That's when I let out a breath, along with the words of the song. "Welcome to the end of eras," I softly sang under my breath. I heard Thomas singing beside me. I smirked then the chorus come up. "I'm taking back the crown! So close I can taste it! I see what's mine and take it!" I plow from my vocal chords, Thomas following just as loud. I feel my cheeks burn from smiling so wide. His voice was just as good as Brendon's in my opinion.

Then we pulled into a nice suburban neighborhood. The car slowed down once a large house that I've seen once before. When I was knocked out by Jane. He stops the car once it's in the driveway and we both get out. I follow the cobblestone pathway to the house and immediately greeted by his mum.

"Oh hello Elise!" She cheered and pulled me into a bone crushing hug.

"Hello Mrs. Sanders, how are you?" I strain. She lets me go and smiles.

"I'm fine. Are you staying for dinner?"

I look up at Thomas and he nods. "She's staying the night." His mum nods and smiles.

"Dinner will be ready in 45." We both nod and Thomas leads me upstairs to his room. I collapse onto his fine bed and he sits in his swirly desk chair. I run my fingers through my curly hair and sigh.

"So," Thomas mumbles.

"So," I repeat to him. He snickers. "What?" I mumble, kinda tired from the stressful day. He shrugs his shoulders. "I'm bored. Entertain me peasant!" I playfully order. He stares at me piercing ice green eyes and tackles me on the bed. He has himself straddled on me and is tickling me mercilessly. "No! Stop! I-I'm sorry!" I scream whilst laughing.

Thomas stops and raises an eyebrow. He gets off me and picks up a controller. He grabs a second one and pushes it toward me. "Wanna play?" He challenges. I take the controller and nod. I bite my lip in concentration and he puts on Sonic.

"Oh bitch! You already should surrender!" I taunt. Thomas playfully shoves my shoulder and sits by me on the bed. The game begins and Thomas is Sonic and I'm Amy.

Forty minutes later and I've won four times and he's won two times. "Told you I'd win," I chuckle. He rolls his eyes.

"Yeah whatever. Anyways my mum texted me and said dinner is ready. You like lasagna?" He asks. I nod and smile. "Alright good, my mum always adds extra cheese," he playfully boasts. I chuckle and he goes downstairs and I follow close behind. I am seated beside him and across an empty seat. His father is beside his mum and is much taller than her.

"I'm so glad you are staying the night Miss Elise," Mr. Sander politely says. I nod a thanks and we dig in. I feel the burning cheese ooze on my tongue and down my throat. Chunks of hamburger meat applying a more diverse flavour.

Thomas and I finish dinner but stopped at the bottom of the staircase by Mrs. Sanders. "Hey, Elise can sleep in her bedroom." Thomas nods and I ignore it. Her? Who? My soft footsteps rhythm to the carpeted stairs. I yawn once I'm at the entrance of his room.

"Tired?" Thomas turns to me and asks. I nod my head, feeling myself slip in and out of consciousness. "I'll get you some PJs and take you to the room you're sleeping in," Thomas mumbles. I nod and follow him. I put my hair into a bun and letting little ringlets of curls fly free. My makeup is just mascara so I don't necessarily care enough to clean my face.

Thomas hands me plaid PJ pants and a college jumper. He lead me to a plum painted room to change. I changed into the surprisingly soft clothes but once I finished, something caught my eye. I dragged my feet to a vanity to see a picture of Thomas and a boy. He had red hair and brown eyes. But at the same time, still somewhat feminine looking. Thomas must've entered without me hearing because when I turned around he was staring at me wide-eyed.

I turned and pointed at the picture. "Who's that?" I ask, pointing to the fiery red boy. Thomas swallowed some nerves.

"My brother. He was born as a female, but my dad wanted him to stay female. When my brother, Alex, obliged, he got kicked out. I haven't seen him in a little over a year," he mumbled. I take another glance at the photo, then not being able to tear my stare away.

"I think I'm going to go to sleep now," I mutter. Thomas nods and turns off the light in the room. I tuck myself into the black duvet on the bed and warmth hugged me from every angle, but I couldn't fall asleep. Twenty minutes later I stood up and snuck into Thomas' room, the only sound was the buzzing of his ceiling fan and his troubled murmurs in his sleep.

I sat in the soft chair, directly across from his bed and watched until he stirred awake. "You mumble in your sleep. Nightmare eh? Those suck," I mutter. Thomas wipes the cold sweat from his forehead.

"Uh, y-yeah. They do suck," he croaks. "I can't sleep now," he finishes. I nod in agreement. "Do you think you can sleep in here tonight. Please?" He asked. I nod and lay beside him. His warmth radiates from his body, making me feel at ease. I fall asleep to the hum of his tired breath, knowing he was still lightly awake.
