JJ's mouth shot open as he read the letter. She didn't know what to do.
"What does it say?"
JJ looked up from the letter.
"Congrats Lacie. You are pregnant. I think it might be a good thing. I'm not getting Paisley pregnant anytime soon. We are waiting til after marriage."
"Good for you JJ." Lacie got up from the seat.
"JJ,Thanks for opening it. I don't think I could have opened it. It's just something. I don't know We didn't plan any of this."
"Lace,you aren't supposed to. You are supposed to let God do the trick and let him plan your life. He wanted you to be a teen mom. He wanted you to be a mom of 3 kids. You are a great Mom and you're a great Detective. I promise one day you'll be Sergeant."
"Right. Grandpa already said that job was yours after Lane steps down or moves up. I'm not getting the Sergeant's spot."
"Lace,You can always switch units. I'm sure you'll be able to be a Sergeant once."
Lacie got out the house and walked towards her car.
Someone knocked on the door. JJ grabbed Lane's rifle and opened the door. It was Isaiah.
"Hey Isaiah!"
Kyle and Kelsie run into the house.
"Uncle Jay!" Kelsie jumped on his lap.
"Hey Kels." JJ gave her a kiss.
"Where's the rugrat?" Isaiah said
"In her room. She feel asleep. Lacie just left."
Britton heard some noise and woke up. She opened her door and walked towards JJ and everyone.
"Uncle Jay,I'm hungry." she yelled
JJ walked to the kitchen and turned on the oven. He preheated it then put the chicken nuggets in.
"Isaiah,what brings you here?"
"I needed to talk to you."
"Kyle,Kelsie,Britton go play in the toy room." All three kids ran to the toy room and started playing.
"What's up?"
"JJ,This guy came to the hospital looking for you. I don't know who he is but He asked for you. I don't know."
"Did he tell you his name?"
"No. I got the security camera footage though." Isaiah pulled out the pictures.
"I know that guy. He was following Pais and I the other night. He was creepy."
"JJ,Tell Dad or Lane. I don't want you getting hurt."
"Isaiah,I'll be okay." Lane Jr. Was at homebase waiting to hit the ball. The pitcher threw the ball and Lane hit it out the park.
"Go Lane!" yelled his Dad.
"Lane! Great Job!" Lacie walked into the firehouse.
"Hey Babe. How are you?"
"I'm feeling better. I need to um tell you something Chris."
"What's up?" Chris hugged Lacie then kissed her.
"I am pregnant. I went to the doctor's last night and I found out. I know we didn't plan it." Chris looked suprised.
"Lace,I don't care. I love you and our little baby. Three kids. What's the big deal."
"I love you Chris." Lacie hugged him. She sat down on the couch. She placed her hand over her flat belly and smiled.
"3 kids Chris. I'm glad we are doing good."
"I am too Lace. We are doing great. How's Britton doing?"
"She's good. I guess." Jessa walked down the stairs holding Reese in her arms.
"Mom,Tonight are you still going to the party?"
"That was the plan. I know nothing ever goes as planned but We are still going."
"What time?"
Jessa handed Reese to her mom. Erin held her close.
"Where's Mikey?"
"He's at his parents. He said He'd meet us at Molly's."
"Grandpa!" yelled Emerson
"Em,What's wrong?"
Emerson came running into the kitchen. She jumped into Jay's arms.
"Hey Baby girl." Jay kissed her.
"Grandpa,Where's Mommy?"
"I don't know where she is but She will be at the party. Greyson!"
Greyson ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Grandpa?"
"What are you doing? Homework?"
"No. I am playing call of duty. Uncle Jay said I could play."
"Alright. Go grab your stuff. Your Mom is coming to pick you two up. I'll see you at the party." Jay put Emerson down and she ran to the bathroom. JJ walked into Britton's room and grabbed an outfit.
"Let me call your Aunt Paisley. She should get you dressed." JJ sent Paisley a text and grabbed the outfit.
Paisley stood in front the mirror and put her earrings in.
She glanced down at her phone.
"Pais,Can you help me with Britton? I need help picking out an outfit." Paisley grabbed her clutch and put on her black heels and ran out her room.
"I'll see you at the party Mom and Dad!" she yelled
"Alright Pais! Love you." Paisley got into her car and put her audio cord into her phone and put on Carrie Underwood's new song Heartbeat.
"And tonight I wanna drive so far we'll only find static on the radio

She pulled into Lane's driveway and got out. She ran into the door.
"Aunt Paisley!" Britton yelled
"Hey Britt. Let's go get you ready for the party." Britton followed Paisley into her room.
Paisley put a dress on her then put a coat on her and some leggings. Then some boots.
"Paisley,I'll drive her because I already have the carseat in the truck. You can drive with us and I'll drive you back here tonight or tomorrow."
"I'll go with you." Lacie picked up the kids and drove them to Molly's. They all walked in.
Lacie walked over to Chris and kissed him.
"Hey Chris. Do you wanna tell them?"
"We can." Chris tapped his cup.
"Lacie and I have an announcement!" yelled Chris
Everyone put their attention on Chris and Lacie
"I'm having a baby!"
