Chapter 19 "Trouble"

Chris grabbed the keys and drove to where Meredith is.

"Mere,Let me go. I wasn't taking any drugs." Blaine lied

"Blaine,Sit. Your levels are higher than normal."

"Ugh!" He rolled his eyes than sat back down on the curb. Jessa and Mikey pulled in then Mason pulled in. Lacie was last.

Lacie's blood was boiling hot. She was pissed.

"Blaine Christopher Hermann. Get your ass in the damn car now."

"Mom!" She pointed to the car.

"Get in the car."

"Detective,His levels were higher than normal. So were Reese's and DJ's."

Chris smacked Blaine across the head as he walked past him.
"Dad!"

"Blaine Christopher. I don't want to hear it."

Jessa stood with her arms crossed.
"Reese,You could have been killed."

"But Mom,I wasn't. I'm here."

"You are grounded. Give me your phone and no more going to hang out with anyone."

Reese handed Jessa her phone.

Dj stood up and started walking towards his dad's truck.

"Daniel Jay! You are grounded. Hand me your phone."

"Mom,It was DJ's idea."

"Blaine! I don't give a crap if it was his fault. You are grounded for going. And don't give me this crap that you didn't know about the drugs. Blaine,I do not care. Your Uncle Lane will talk with you. I'm done with the damn disrespect. I'm talking to your dad when we get home. You may be sent to Military school."

After Lacie parked the car. Blaine unbuckled and ran up to his room.

"Lace,We are not sending him to Military school."

"Oh yes we are. He has been acting out for sometime now. I am beyond done with it."

"Alright. I'm heading to bed." Chris kissed Lacie then walked into the master bedroom.

"Chris! I'm sorry. I'm just kind of not in a great mood. It has been 15 years since my Grandpa died."

"Lace,it's been 24 since my dad died."

"I hate it that he's gone. I wish he was still here. I just don't know why he had to leave."

The next day was a special day. Everyone got up early. Today Lane was being honored as Commander and Lacie was being honored as Captain. JJ was taking Lane's place as Sergeant. Greyson was being honored as Lieutenant of Truck.

"I would like to honor our new Commander. Lane William Halstead. His parents are here."

Platt handed him the key to the office..
"Thank you Platt." Olinsky came out of the office with a plaque and a picture.

"This is for you kid. Remember what I said. You have come a long way and this has been your dream. It came true." Al smiled

"It came true without my Grandpa here."

"We'd also like to honor the new Captain. Captain Lacie Hermann. She is the only female captain we have ever had. Congrats Lacie." Everyone clapped for her.

"Thank you." She was handed a key and a plaque.

Blaine didn't smile. He heard his parents talk about the military school..

"Mom,You aren't sending me to Military school." He shouted

Everyone turned their heads and looked at him.
"Lace,What's this about Him going to Military school?" asked Erin

"Reese,Blaine and DJ were found at a party with drugs last night. He has been failing his work. I am beyond done with him and Dad don't tell me I shouldn't because you were going to send Lane to Military school when you and mom were going through your divorce."

"Mom and Dad got a divorce?" asked JJ

"Yeah. Well they almost. Mom cheated on Dad."

"Uncle Kevin lost you two at the park." confessed Lane

The next day... Lane Jr. and Liam took Jay-Luke and Camille out to the park.

"Jay-Luke,watch out!" Jay-Luke ran off to the playset. He started climbing. Camille stayed close to Lane and Liam.

"Liam,Where is Mommy?"

"I don't know Cami. She's at work with your dad."

"I wanna go see them."

"Cami,you will." Camille ran off and played with the others. When it was time to go. Liam and Lane went to go look for them.

"Jay-Luke! Camille!" yelled Liam

Before they knew they were running around the park looking for them.
"Damn it Lane." yelled Liam

"Let's call Dad."

"Dad,We have a problem. We lost Jay-Luke and Camille."

"You two. Damn it. Call your Uncle and Aunt."

"Uncle Jay,We lost Camille and Jay-Luke." Liam said innocently

"Where are you?"

"The playground on 56th."

"Alright. I'm on my way." Lane caught a glimpse of someone who look like Jay-Luke He ran towards him.

"Jay-Luke,don't scare us."

"Lane,i don't know where cami went!" Jay-Luke admitted

"Jay-Luke go see Liam. I am gonna find Camille." He ran towards a guy who looked creepy.

"Have you seen this girl?" He showed a picture of her.

"No. I haven't." He was standing in front of his car. Like nothing is going on. Lane pushed him out the way and opened the door. And saw Camille sitting in the seat. He picked her up then put her down and told her to stay still. Lane arrested the guy.

JJ sped to the park and ran to Liam. He hugged his 3 year old twins and never let them go.

"Daddy,That was scary." Camille started crying.

"I know baby. You are safe now." JJ hugged her tightly.

"I'll take him down to the 21st." Lane drove to the district and got the guy out. He brought him up to Intelligence.

"Lane,Who's that?"

"He almost kidnapped Camille." Mikey walked up to him and nearly almost punched him.

"Whoa. Mikey!" Mason pulled him off of him.

"What's your name?" asked Mikey

"None of your business."

"Oh yes it is. You are in Lane Halstead's district not any other one."

"Gabriel Ryans."

"Well Gabriel,You are going to jail for attempted kidnapping of my niece."

"No. No. I can't go to jail again." He admitted

"Why?"

"Because I just can't." Lane walked into the room.

"We can't arrest him. We have no charges." Gabriel walked out the room and outside. He noticed Reese and Cassie sitting on the steps.

"Hey Pretty little ladies."

"Get away from me." yelled Cassie

Brynley pulled up to the district and picked her up. Reese walked inside.

Blaine stood in front of the academy he walked in and noticed a lot of people. His mom made him start coming to the Police Academy and helping out.

"Blaine Hermann. My Mom sent me."

"Tyler Ryans. My Mom and Dad sent me too."
