Chapter 21: "All in a night"

Emerson woke up from her deep sleep and saw she had twenty missed calls from Greyson,Lane,Liam,Her uncles and aunts.

"Greyson,What happened?"

"Blaine! HE is in the hospital. Get your ass at Chicago Med. It's not looking too good." She heard in the background screams and cries. Then silence.

"GREYSON! WHAT HAPPENED?" She yelled

"HE FUCKING DIED! HE WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT. JUST GET OVER TO CHICAGO MED!" Her screaming woke up Ryan who was in the living room.

She threw on a bra then ran out the door. IT was storming and rainy. Ryan followed her out the door. She sped to Chicago Med while she was at a stop sign she started crying.

Ryan tried comforting her.

Once she got there She ran inside.

Greyson stopped her before she went in the double doors.

"GREYSON! LET ME IN THERE! HE'S MY LITTLE BROTHER!"

"No. I can't let you go!" Jessa sat down,Mikey held her tightly she started crying in his shoulder.

"Our baby girl is gone. She's gone.. Like that." Kelsie wiped the tears from her face as she walked into the waiting room,where all her aunts and uncles were sitting. Her cousins were there. Everyone in her family.

"Aunt Jessa,Uncle Mikey,I'm Sorry. Reese didn't make it." She first hugged them then walked over to Mason and Jacie.

"Mr. and Mrs. Ruzek,Daniel didn't make it." Jacie grabbed a hold of Mason and he hugged her tightly.

The last one who didn't have any parents was Tyler his grandpa was there.
"I'm sorry. He didn't make it." He had no one. His daughter died a year earlier now his grandson died. Lacie and Chris, no one has told them anything yet. Not even Will.

Emerson grabbed a hold of her brother and didn't let him go. She cried in his arms. Her little brother died. She didn't know what to say. Jay contacted Lacie.

"Lacie,I have some news."

"What happened? Do we need to come back?"

"Yeah. Yo your son is in the hospital. They don't know if he is going to make it."

"No. This can't be happening. We are on our way." Chris looked over to her and feared for the worst.

"Lace,what happened."

"Blaine. He's in the hospital."

Lacie put her hand over her mouth and started crying.
Chris hugged her tightly and didn't let go. Meanwhile Lane Jr. gets a text.

"What happened?"

"Lane! Your cousins are in the hospital."

"I'm on my way Liam. Chill. What happened?"

"They are dead. Lane! Blaine and Reese are dead."

"No. They can't be dead. We just saw them the other day Liam..."

"Yeah. Just come on. Aunt Paisley wants us to babysit the kids for them."

"I can't believe they still trust us." Lane went by the door and opened it at the foot of the door was a baby girl sitting in the carseat with a note.

Dear Lane,
She is your daughter. I got pregnant right after I left and realized I couldn't be a mom. Please Lane take care of her. She doesn't have a name yet so do the honors and name your daughter."
Lane bent down and picked up the baby. He cuddled her in his arms then put her back in the carseat.
