I'm in anime!?

Chapter 2

(I'm in Anime!?)

I stared at my potatoes and peas, moving them around with my fork.

"Tiffany, please stop playing with your food and eat it." My mother said sternly, but there was an edge of worry in her voice.

I looked up to see everybody observing me like as if I was there science project. I opened my mouth and swallowed my food unenthusiastically. They glanced away and begun eating their dinner.

I sighed and got up, bringing my plate to the kitchen. When I finished rinsing off my plate I headed back to the dining room. I thanked them for the meal and went upstairs in a daze.

I had ruin the day...I scared myself because of a stupid dream, and hurt my best friends feelings. Weren't friends suppose to stick up for each other? I felt even more gloomier.

I glance at my alarm clock to see the time 6:30 PM.

My first day of the summer holidays and I'm already ruining it! Well it's still summer, might as well make the best of it tomorrow.

I decided to sleep in, thinking I'll be refreshed and bright tomorrow for the big day.

With that in my mind I crawled into bed and stuffed my face into my pillow. I couldn't quite sleep, so I decided to recite the anime episodes of Inuyasha in my mind, it actually helped and within minutes I fell fast asleep.

(Kaede's POV)

"Show yourself!" I said sternly. I saw the face of a young little girl from behind the trees. She had the same glossy black hair from yesterday when we were in the area. I stared in shock. Could this be what was in the circle?

More questions roused up in my mind. Who is this girl? Is she really a girl or a demon?

I put my bow down on the ground, and slowly try to approach her, afraid that she could be a demon. Her expression changed into fear and she turned to leave.

The last thing I remembered when I tried to run after her was her petrifying scream that echoed as she vanished into thin air.

When I woke up the next day, I had made up my mind. I decided to prepare for her return. I went to the village and gathered the men. The three from yesterday looked at me in horror after I finished explaining. "Are you sure my lady? What if that thing is dangerous?" One of them said.

I shake my head.

"No. I will set up a little barrier, right where the circle was around the same time when she last came. Then we will get our answers if she is a demon or a girl." I confirmed, but something tells me that this one is neither... I shrugged the thought away.

"Let's go!" I said.

We set up around the area. I placed my bow beside me as I sat cross legged on the ground next to where the circle once was.

The men from the village came back with rusted spears, ready to attack if anything went wrong.

I glanced towards the sky, the sun was setting. I breathed calmly, shutting my eyes. I started an incantation putting my hands together. I felt the wind swirl around us and I heard the men whimpering in fear, then they gasped. I opened my eyes to see the dust and sand circling in the little barrier, my eyes widened as it made a small tornado, the wind swirling only in that area. Something shimmered into view, flowing black, white and red. It was the girl!

She looked different this time, she had red ears and black hair with white streaks. Her eyes that were closed, pealed open, revealing bright glowing red eyes. She stared at us lifelessly and let's out a shrilling scream, her head falls back and she collapsed to the ground, the wind comes to an abrupt stop and there appeared the circle with the girl in it.
